Good morning campers!
Hope everyone is doing okay this morning. I have to say it is very hard to stay happy and positive when the mood of J land is so low. So many of you are suffering right now and it is difficult not to feel the pain and fear right along with you. Cancer has reared it's ugly head in 3 of our lovely ladies..you all know who they are. Others are battling personal demons.. whatever your problems are today I am truly sorry for what you are dealing with. Once again it makes me realize how very blessed I am and I am grateful every day for the abundance of joy in my life. It is in that spirit that I will continue to write about the every day things that are going on here in my little nook of the world. But please know that each and everyone of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I have the next four days off and then I have to work five days in a row..12 hour shifts on the front desk to cover while our young crazy receptionist jets off to Miami for Spring break..you go girl! I am happy to fill in for her but know it is going to be a very difficult week ahead for me so I intend to make the most of my days off...;-)
The lads are starting on the deck next week so we need to get the flower beds etc weeded and the yard looking good... I am wanting to get some plants in too..I have plans to meet the girls for a drink at the Irish pub for my birthday on Friday night and then probably our usual Mexican and margaritas...Saturday will be yard work and a trip to the garden centre.. Sunday I am Queen for the day..just kidding :-) but I am sure we will be going out for a meal somewhere....so today I need to get all the housework done and hit the gym...I am also going to take some pics of the new windows and True beauty's room ..don't faint... ha! I have been promising for ages so today's the day...so look for those later...it's a beautiful spring morning here.. my allergies are doing a number on me or I would open all the windows and let some fresh air in but the pollen is terrible..my car is a lovely shade of green from it all...
Before I forget I did the dumbest thing the other day...I thought I would try to put some hi lites in my hair by using Sun In..I know.. I know..dumb move..well it turned my hair a lovely shade of ORANGE so I had to make an emergency run to the hairdressers and get it corrected..so I have my sexy blonde hi lights in for the summer and I love it...maybe I'll take a pic of them too...
Be back later with pics...IF you get an alert that is...grrrrrrrr..
hugs
L

I know! It's so annoying I haven't been getting any alerts at all! Hope this doesn't carry on for too long. I am now wishing I had bookmarked everyone's journal! I, too, feel for all the lovely people on here that are going through a rough time at the moment and praise God every day for my many many blessings. They all have my prayers and special thoughts.
Happy Birthday tommorrow! Hope you have a fantastic time! I'll be thinking of you. A Mexican sounds good to me! Oh...you meant food, LOL. That sounds pretty good too! Have a great day!

Marie

Oh man I would freak about the orange hair. I've done that before !! I am looking forward to planting flowers soon too. I have my bulbs all ready to go. Now if my schedule and the weather will cooperate at the same time. LOL. Hugs,
