Good morning campers!!
Happy St. Paddy's day for yesterday.. Happy Mothers day to all the mums in UK for today and Happy birthday to me!!! ;-)
I haven't wrote since Friday morning.. hm... let's re cap.. I went for a drink with the girls to the Irish pub Friday evening..that was fun..hubby was at a going away function at another pub so I met up with him later...yesterday was an incredibly beautiful spring day..clear blue skies..sunshine and a lovely breeze.. not hot either ..I don't think it even got to 70 degrees but it was warm in this sunshine.. I worked in the yard all day.. weeded all the flower beds and tidied up everything..separated my plants etc..hosed off the patio furniture..put the umbrella up..then hubby and I went for Mexican food as we missed out Friday night..On the way home we stopped and picked up a few hanging baskets in full bloom..I couldn't resist..and several trays of flowering plants so I can redo my containers on my patio steps...it was one of those picture perfect days and I slept like a log from being outside in the fresh air all day.. woke up this morning to find a gift bag on hubbies pillow ..he went golfing..inside was my hot pink nano Ipod...yahoo!!!! also a bottle of wine and a lovely card....I am so excited.. got to get Ryan to show me how to download all my tunes and I will be one happy camper... ;-) not sure what the rest of the day has install for me but I am sure we will go somewhere for a bite to eat..I am thinking somewhere outside by the water...
hope you are all having a wonderful weekend..thank you for all the E cards and cards in the mail.. I appreciate it so much.. I really have no right celebrating birthdays at my age..I am 45 today...yikes..but what the heck.. I don't feel 45.. I still keep wondering when I will grow up..hopefully never... ;-)

45 is a great age! Despite my recent over-the-weekend troubles, and this particular YEAR so far the 40's have been pretty damn good. The older I get the less likely I'm inclined to say stuff like, "I wish I was 16." 16 was HORRIBLE. LOL How quickly we forget!
Anyway, my Pop dying is just happenstance. It doesn't have anything to do with me being 44 or 45 really. All of the bad stuff right now is just happenstance.

The weather has been really great here, but getting so hot already. LOL We reached 92 yesterday and are expected to be about the same today. This coming week is suppose to cool down to the mid to high 70's.....perfect!
