Good morning campers..

Sorry I haven't wrote an entry in a while...nothing is wrong..just not a whole lot to write about...the dog days of summer are in full effect here in Florida and my energy level is suffering for it I guess...my friend Jen thinks I am depressed.. I don't think I am I am just adjusting to being alone and not having a whole heck of a lot to do...bit bored if anything but that's okay...I went out with another military wife last night..we went to dinner at carrabas..that was fun..today I am going to read by the pool and then I am going over Jens for a cook out....it is so HOT here..thank god for air conditioning and swimming pools!!! gas it over $4...we finally got our stimulus check...the kids and dog are fine...Ryan is driving me insane with the usual summer stuff..wet towels everywhere...half drank cans of soda ..eating all the food in the house...friends hanging out at all hours...not today mind you...today is MY day to lay by the pool...;-)

A couple of prayers requests..this is a tough one...my beautiful Di is battling cancer again..remember she had just got the all clear from breast cancer?? well it has returned in her thyroid..she is having surgery to remove the thyroid and lymph nodes Thursday...we will not know the extent of the cancer and what type till then...my father in laws wife is having a biopsy on a lump above her breast Monday morning too....

MONDAY MORNING

GOOD MORNING CAMPERS!

JUST WANTED TO POP IN BEFORE I HEAD OFF TO THE CLINIC. HAS ANYONE ELSE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS READING JOURNALS THIS MORNING? I WOULD OPEN A LINK AND IT WOULD DISAPPEAR..WEIRD..SAME WITH WEB SITES...SEEMS TO BE OKAY NOW THOUGH.

SPOKE TO HUBBY YESTERDAY..POOR GUY..HE HAS A LOT OF CRAP TO DEAL WITH ...LITERALLY..SEEMS THEY HAVE A PHANTOM SHITTER IN THEIR MIDST..SOMEONE TOOK A CRAP IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM AND USED SOMEONE ELSE'S CLOTHES TO SMEAR IT AROUND...WTF?? ONE HOPEFUL SAILOR SAID "MASTER CHIEF ..MAYBE THE GUY GOT CAUGHT SHORT AND HAD TO GO AND USED THE CLOTHES TO ATTEMPT TO CLEAN IT UP" NOT LIKELY AS HE SMEARED IT EVERYWHERE AND LEFT THE MESS...ALSO ONE OF THE BARRACKS WAS BROKEN INTO AND SEVERAL ELECTRONICS AND A WATCH WERE TAKEN...HUBBY THINKS IT MAYBE THE SQUADRON THAT THEY JUST RELIEVED..THEY WERE STILL THERE FOR THE FIRST WEEK...AS YOU CAN IMAGINE THIS HAS DONE NOTHING FOR THE TROOPS MORALE..I PITY WHOEVER IS RESPONSIBLE BECAUSE IF HUBBY GETS HOLD OF HIM HIS NAVY CAREER WILL BE OVER...AS FOR THE SHITTER....HUBBY WILL HAVE HIM CLEANING TOILETS THE NEXT 6 MONTHS WITH A TOOTHBRUSH..MAYBE EVEN HIS OWN??  ;-) 

SO THE MORAL OF THIS STORY IS THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE HAVING A WORSE DAY THAN YOU ARE....LOL

       Good Morning campers!!

 Wow it has been a while aye? I see they have added more mood selections..when did they add those??

I haven't really been anywhere..just here in one of my "funks"..just a combination of a lot of things at once..hubby leaving...anniversaries spent alone...a nasty bout with a tummy bug...and a raging case of PMS..so as the old saying goes if you haven't got anything nice to say don't say anything at all...:-) I will be starting over though as my alerts are in the triple digits... I will be making my rounds this morning to try and catch up...

My son turned 18 on the 6th June..he is now in Myrtle beach for a week with a bunch of his friends..this is a gift from one of the parents for her daughter graduating..she took a bunch of them on vacation..god bless her is all I have to say...LOL..so they will be somewhat supervised..but as my son likes to tell me "I am 18 now Mum".. we did have a cook out here Friday afternoon to celebrate and everyone seemed to have a great time...the weather has been steamy hot here so they enjoyed the pool... I looked on in envy at all the tight hot little bodies all over the place...oh to be young again... ;-)

Hubby is settling in over in Japan..we have talked a couple of times on the phone..it is their rainy season there and he said it absolutely pours for 2 hours every afternoon..he purchased his first ever umbrella...LOL.. I  miss him and have to admit it feels a bit lonely here...and the chores he does now fall on me with help from "the kids" and it was all feeling a bit daunting last week but as I get into a new routine it is all falling into place...at least I am staying busy... ;-)

Not much else to report..as I said it is steamy hot...highs in the 90's this past week...pool temp is 86..gas is now $3.95 a gallon...has anyone noticed a decrease in traffic? I certainly have...Superwalmart was empty yesterday too..a sign of the times or the heat???
