Friday..;-)

Good Morning Campers....

It's Friday ;-)

Busy day here today.. True Beauty's furniture is being delivered. We went to Pier 1 yesterday and got some accessories for the room. Keep in mind that if and when she moves out this is going to be the guest room so I am decorating with that in mind. ( that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it)  We had fun. It is going to beautiful when it's all finished. hubby did good..even put up the new ceiling fan by himself..remote controlled no less..and we got Ryan a new one for his room too..his old one was just that ..old and noisy..you can't survive in Florida without ceiling fans trust me. Ryan is at school and as you know hubby is away golfing so it's up to me and true to dismantle her old bed and make room for the new one. Luckily her room is bare other than boxes and the bed.

I was so pissed yesterday..almost showed my arse at the orthodontist office. When we were there last time they said Ryan needed a longer appointment than usual to do something new to his braces so would I take an appointment during school hours.. I usually book them after school because here in FL high school gets out at 1.30.  I figured just this once it would be okay..they are so busy and the DR was about to leave for his own golfing trip so I made the appointment for 11am yesterday. I let Ryan miss the whole day... he has only missed 2 days this year and I figured by the time he got to school  he would only actually be there about 2 hours before I came to get him. Anyways.. I drop him at the dentist..thinking I have an hour or more to kill...I just make it to the next street over and my cell phone rings..it's him!! I was like "what's wrong?" he tells me he's done. they looked in his mouth told him to bite down and said he was done..to make an appointment to come back and get his braces off!   so I turn around and come back and go in to ask the receptionist WTF? of course she doesn't know and it's not her fault..so I very kindly tell her how I didn't appreciate taking Ryan out of school for a 2 minute appointment etc etc..if it wasn't for the fact that Ryan was doing cartwheels about getting his braces off I am sure I would have said a lot more ... but I didn't want to rain on his parade so we left there with the appointment to get them off.. he beamed all the way home... it was a good day for Ryan... no school and braces off in 10 days... ;-)

I went to the gym yesterday.. walked for 45 minutes..really enjoyed it.. I am going to sign up for Yoga classes too and maybe get adventurous and hit some of the machines.. hubby is going to come with me for that though.. mr. fitness himself..;-)

Well time to get going here..I am going to the gym again..that will make it 3 times already this week.. my goal is five days a week.. the only days I won't go are the days I work....I hate to admit this but it really does make you feel better afterwards.. I'm getting into this... :-)

Have a good weekend everyone.. my heartfelt prayers for our sweet Jeanette.. I got on my knees  last night..haven't done that in a while....

hugs

L

What happens if your daughter wants to take her new furniture with her when she moves?  Be prepared...lol... I am going to try my hand at installing a fan in the boys room ( David is not handiny and wont even attempt it) because you are certainly right, you HAVE to have fans in Fl. That sucks about the ortho. I used to have the same kind of fits while I was preggers with my boys... I would wait in the waiting room for what seems like years, then they would weigh me, take my pressure and kick me out... so frustrating...

I dont know Jeanette...but I will remember her when I am praying.

Youre doing good with the gym!

You will love yoga!!  Not only helps with the elasticity of your body, but will also help in centering you and keeping you grounded.  Whoo hoo...hubby-less all weekend...party on, girl!

My disability makes Gym impossible now, unfortunately, but a matter of 10 years ago I used to go and believe me it gets addictive.  My friend, also more disabled now than she was then, and I used to go do a couple of hours twice a week and also most days in our lunch break from work.  Can't get on my knees now, not even for our Jeanette but, hey, she won't mind and God won't care! Happy weekend.  Angie, x

I always feel really good after I've done my stint on my treadmill.  I'm sweating like a pig and feeling great.  Can't beat it! I'd go to the gym if I had a partner to go with.  Too bad we are an ocean apart!

doctors offices can drive a person nuts. I wanted to get braces for Megan and my ex husband bailed on the only job that would have paid half of her braces and she never got them because of him.

Grrrrrr that is so infuriating........i sometimes wonder if the people who make appointments actually put any thought into it .
