Good Morning Campers!!
How are we all on this glorious Monday morning?..<sarcastic grin> you know I hate Monday mornings... ;-)
Just thought I would post real quick as I have over 70 alerts to catch up on. I wasn't home much yesterday...hubby is home...he told me what happened..the guys had bought these power ball lottery tickets and were all saying if they won they would give each other a million bucks...well the grumpy old bastard pipes up "F*&K no that's my money if I win..I'll give you maybe $100,000" the other guys all laughed..like their going to win anyway... so the next day they stop to get sodas and grumpy stays in the car..when hubby gets back in he says "where are the lottery tickets" hubby asks what he means and he tells hubby "if we are going to split the money we need separate tickets for that so I know which one is just MY money" hubby thinks he is joking so he's like yea yea whatever tells him "No we didn't get separate tickets' to which grumpy decides to go off on my hubby...cussed him out so hubby retaliated.. told him what a miserable 'ol git he was being etc and to basically shut the f up...Grumpy did not speak to hubby the rest of the trip...needless to say he will never be invited to go again and hubby is done with him..it takes a lot to make my hubby mad but once you do he can be very unforgiving..when he is done with you he is done with you...<sigh> by the way the way I heard about it all in the first place was one of the other wives called me..some of you were wondering how I knew if hubby didn't call me...all I can say is boys will be boys....;-)
So I'm off to work..yet another new part timer starting this morning..the full time MA is off today as the kids are out of school and her babysitter (brother) just went to boot camp and she hasn't found another babysitter yet so it will be me and the new MA in the back and the receptionist and the new part timer on the front desk.. are you keeping up with this because I sure the hell aren't!! I will be glad when we can get all these girls trained and maybe get organized and back on some sort of schedule..there is so much more to our job than just taking vitals and putting patients in rooms.. we have a lot of phone calls to make..referrals to other dr's etc..prescriptions to be called in or faxed..lab results to be given... returning patients phone calls..not to mention 4 phone lines blowing up all the time..hopefully this new front desk person will get a handle on these damn phones...

1. Hubby made it back safely and had a great time despite grumpy..;-)
2.. Lunch with Uriel yesterday.. it was great to catch up but we needed more time...I was in a rush to get back to take Ryan to work...
3... It was light till almost 8pm last night..I am loving this....
4....My finger is better..can barely see anything now...
5..... New work out clothes...on sale too...;-)

I sure do hope things at work settle down a bit for you. I know doc offices are busy places and it helps when the whole team is trained and working.
Wow you sure weren't kidding about the grumpy guy being really a pill! He sounds like he has no idea of his effect on other folks.

Im glad your hubby told the pisshead off. I'm sure the other guys were relieved when he did. Why is everyone so afraid of people like him. We shoudl just tell this type of person to go to he-- as soon as they open their mouths. :)

I've been meaning to ask you where you got the idea of "My 5?" Because I remember seeing something like that on Oprah a good few years ago now about how she writes down 5 things to be thankful for or happy about or something everyday. I started doing it myself for like a whole week and then gave up but I love the idea!

What is wrong with Mondays? Many wonderful songs about Monday such as . . . Manic Monday . . .Monday, Monday . . .Rainy Days and Monday's always get me down . . .I think this last one perfectly captures your Monday sentiment. Anyway, have a great week despite Monday being a part of it.

Sometimes it's good to get rid of the baggage (grumpy). How did it go with the new MA? I totally understand how your job is much, much more than it appears. Hope you had a good Monday despite the potential madness. De ;)

Oh yes there is so much more than just taking vitals. I hope that everyone gets trained that you work with and it starts to go more smoothly for you. We have new people at the front desk which makes life very interesting!
