Monday Morning

Good Morning Campers!!

It's Monday Morning!! My favourite day of the week..NOT! How was your weekend? I have pretty much kept up with Journals and Alerts this weekend because I promised myself I wasn't getting out on the roads this weekend so I stayed cozy and warm in my little house, puttered around, played on the Computer <looks at Carrie> and relaxed.

Hubby's email is down, he is out of his room so no phone.. so I doubt I will have contact with him till Friday.. I am so excited.. I actually get butterflies when I think about it. Guess that is the reward for all the trials and tribulations of the past 6 months. I do feel as though we "cheated" on this deployment because I saw him a couple of times over the summer... but I just want him home.. and there is something ever so special about homecomings at Christmas....

I went for a drink with my best male friend last night. You have heard me mention him a few times. This guy is me in male form. Or rather he is the male I would be if I were male..god what am I prattling on about... LOL... we just get along..period....we talk about everything under the sun.. he is a prominent Dr. in our area..he is drop dead gorgeous and a sexy Puerto Rican.. so as you can imagine everyone puts 2 and 2 together and comes up with 8..BUT it is not like that. Although I am probably the only female on the planet who has not succumbed to his charm... he is definitely a ladies man..BUT I think that's why him and I are such good friends because he respects me... that I just don't go "there" with him. The tales he tells me from the hospital are better than any soap.. that place is like Peyton Place...all the Dr's and Nurses sleeping together... we haven't seen each other for a while.. I was taking a break from spending time with him because he was putting me in the middle of him and his wife and that is not a place I will go even for a best friend...there are boundaries no friendship should cross..so seeing him last night was fun..we had loads to catch up on..we had a couple of Apple Martinis..watched the boats on the river..all lit up...talked about how excited I am about hubby..etc etc... it was a very pleasant evening and it was nice to get out the house after being cooped up all weekend...

I am working the next three days..today and Wednesday I am in the clinic..  I am going to be extra diligent with the sanitizer.. I so cannot get sick..tomorrow I will be running the Front desk... that is always fun for me.. I love having a chat with everyone as they sign in...

Well I need to get showered her and "start' my day... have a great week everybody....

3... My neighbour gave me the branches she chopped off her real tree.. I have put them in a clay pot and now my house smells like Christmas...the branches are so big it looks like a mini tree.. hubby will think I have completely lost it.. that makes 3 trees now...

4.... Gina and all her hard work for the Convention... I am sincere when I say that I appreciate all you have done...it is so hard to please everyone and I think you did an excellent job...
