Hello again.
I just had to comment on your reaction to me being "for real" seems many of you feel the same way I do. I feel really good about this. For the record my life is not so terrible and I am not hiding any big secrets or anything but rather I tend to think before I speak in fear of offending someone. I have always had a problem opening up..I can listen to anyone else's problems and help in any way I can but when it comes to my own stuff I just clam up. I miss writing all my feelings and thoughts out. I find I don't have time for my paper Journal since writing online... ha! imagine that .. ;-) Anyway thank you for the encouragement and the kind words.. as I said this makes me feel really good about this.

You seem to do well. I don't think you'll ever offend anyone talks about yourself and moods. It is also very British not to talk too much or openly, it's cultural; there is no freedom of speech Law in the UK; They have it in the USA. Florida might have changed you a bit, do you think? you seem to live in a wonderful country.

We're not all that different from each other. We each face our own realities, or lack thereof. With very few exceptions, our lives, while not perfect, are not all that bad. I am going to try to be more open and honest with myself. Take care...

LET US HAVE IT, BABY!
I get that from my late husband who used to make me so mad in the beginning with his bluntness. But later I came to admire his bravery for taking everything on at face value and seeing things like they really were (and he was by no means a "serious" man). Now that he's gone I find I've picked up that trait. I'll tell you what I really think... ESPECIALLY if you ask me.
So far I haven't offended anybody. The closest to that I've come is having a few people say, "Wow, that sounds just like something Skip would have said..."
Our journals are what we write in them. You write what you want to write and what you want people to know. Write what you are comfy with. We are not here to judge anyone. Just here to add our support and show we care. There are some lovely caring people in Jland.

I`m glad you feel that way Lyn, you won`t offend anyone because that`s what journals are all about. We can be ourselves and write what we want within reason, or of course we can hold back if necessary. Being British we are quite good at that, or at least I am...lol!

That good old British stiff upper lip stops us from saying it how it is. Only for fear of worrying others, it's nothing to do with being reserved. English people are some of the most tactile in the world. My family is some of them. Our fear of upsetting and worrying others stops us from saying things sometimes.
We Brits have our faults, but are the most respectful and tolerant (sp?) cultures I have ever dealt with.
Some other reader mentioned we do not have the freedom of speech laws like in the States, but we are a far more tolerant nation (opened a can of worms here? lolol)
We/I have learnt from others to speak my mind and tell it how it is, sometimes it works, other times it don't!
Lets have a mass debate!!!!! (grins) as Mrs Merton would say (Brit comic)

I think that being real is a great idea! I try to be. Some stuff I don't blog about but most of it I do! Sad really, since it is so boring! LOL
