Delayed

Hubby is stuck in UK. They took off from Mildenhall today only to lose pressure over the Atlantic one hour into the flight so had to turn around and go back. The crew is resting and maintenance has fixed the problem. They are set to leave tomorrow morning 11am British time. They fly to Maine then have to clear customs and refuel before coming to Florida. We are looking at tomorrow night at the earliest. please keep them all in your prayers that the aircraft passes inspection again tomorrow and they can be on their way. They almost didn't  get to land in UK because of the unusually high winds which I am sure you have all read about. To say I am on tender hooks is the understatement of the year. This bites....

Will keep you updated....

Oh, I do hope he makes it tommorrow....but better safe than sorry.  It's tough though when you have been waiting and now must wait another 24 hours.  We DID have some crazy winds yesterday, in fact we've been having them for a couple weeks now, but yesterday was wild.  A Tornado in London, no less!  I'm gonna look for my ruby slippers just in case!  (You'll be having  a GREAT weekend I am sure!)
