Close but no cigar

Good evening Campers.

Well hubby is in USA. Not Florida though. He is getting closer people. <sigh> You talk about an emotional roller coaster.. Here's the scoop..

They left UK this morning..terrible winds..they were flying against 100 mile an hour winds which drained their gas/petrol..they had to resort to one engine.. they made it to Newfoundland where they refueled and went on to Maine...the crew is now resting and they plan on leaving tomorrow morning and should be on base at 1300. One of Lesters chiefs bought his stuff over that arrived on the cargo plane earlier this week. this will make the arrival at the base short and sweet...the positive of this is that it will be daylight when they land and we shall see them coming over the horizon..pics I promise..AND Ryan is not working tomorrow so he can come with me..poor Rach is working...it is taking all my will power not to go nose in those boxes out in the garage that the Chief bought over cuz I know there are pressies in there.... ;-)

Will let you know when he is finally here...thanks for all the prayers and thoughts..means a lot...

Oh goodness, there is always a muddle!  I hope he gets there sooner than soon!  At least he is on this continent!  And really, I'm thankful they made it through all of those horrible winds.  I did finally see the news about London and the tornado.
Your card arrived yesterday, thank you!
