You have two very good looking children, you must be very proud.
Ryan may just be a late starter, like my son Simon. He never worked at school and just scraped the five good grades he needed to get into his present job in the Royal Navy.
He dropped out of college twice and messed around in an office job for three years. He then decided to go into the Royal Navy as an Artifficer Apprentice (Engineering). I was amazed he thought he could do this, as he had tried it once before and dropped out after 6 weeks. He knew this time there could be no dropping out. He did his four years, has been with his submarine for just over a year and is now a Petty Officer and doesn't intend to stop there. He's just 27 now.
Some kids just take longer to find their direction.
