Finally.............

It's me. I am writing this from my own desk. Yes I have a new monitor..it's a lovely 17 inch LCD  ;-)  So I am back...did you miss me?? I sure missed you guys.. honestly..I missed you like crazy. I feel so out of the loop!! I understand we are celebrating 3 years of J Land.. special thanks to Stevie for "nicking" my pic and including me in the video..god love him. 

My trip was amazing. And draining. And emotional. I took loads of pics. They will serve as my "memory" I will of course be posting tons of them. My dad is doing fab. my sister and brother and all my nieces and nephews the same. England was flipping H-O-T!!!!!! Like miserably hot..like soak your sheets at night hot.. I have become a totally spoiled American brat!!! I need my Air Con!!!!!!! Other than the heat I loved every minute. No family fights this time. Although my sister does my head in. I got really really bad news though... my sweet darling bestest friend in the whole wide world..the one I have known since we were 8 years old..the one who knows ALL my deepest darkest secrets has fucking breast cancer..and no I don't care that I dropped the "F" bomb in there... bless her heart..she is my soul mate......I love her and to hear this was hard..BUT I truly believe she will be okay...I am happy I could be there when she had her surgery..we are now waiting for the prognosis.. at the moment we are praying that the lumpectomy will be enough to get it all and then some radiation to be sure..please please pray for Diane...thanks...

 

I saw hubby.. he looks good..we had a good time..little bit weird seeing him over there and not being in our own house etc.. but we had fun..TRUST me  ;-) the kids were happy to see him too... it was all a bit of a whirlwind but good none the less...

Saw a lot of my old friends from school...some old boyfriends..even got a ride home from one of them on the handlebars of his bicycle just like in the old days... lol... I did a lot of shopping.. lots of walking in the countryside...lots of laughs in the pub... spent some time at my Mum's grave...talked to her a lot.... tidied up my Mother in Laws grave too... all in all it was a wonderful two weeks..

As you know we got broken in to... we are almost positive it was the older brother of one of my sons friends.. it was definitely an "inside" job..someone who knew we were not going to be here.. they made themselves right at home..watched a little TV.. went on the computer..even took a shower...and then stole my monitor and a bunch of other misc. stuff... jewelry, my hubby's change ..$500 worth..yea I know ..why did he have so much change?...it was his thing..he loved showing us just how much you could save by just dumping your change out each night... he always cashed it in for spending money when we went on vacation.. <sigh>  But I have to count my blessings..it could have been a lot worse..they could have destroyed my beautiful new kitchen... vandalized the house etc... all they took were material things... YES it pisses me off but I have to let it go and move on or else I will be miserable.. I appreciate all the support and kind words from you guys....

Well that's all for now...more to follow I promise...I am going to go turn my alerts back on and try to catch up.... I am so happy to be back....
