Saturday Morning. The patient is doing well. He looks like a hamster and is refusing to go anywhere looking like that..too funny..bless him. I promise to put some pics up later..I am in a good mood you will be glad to know. After a thoroughly boring Friday evening my Saturday is looking up..got an invite out tonight with some girlfriends..I need it. I was so bored last night I even attempted some crocheting. I am not at all "crafty" artsy maybe but crafty I am not..you have no idea how many attempts I have made at crocheting..I need something to do with my hands.. I get restless just sitting watching TV.. so last night I had another go..so far so good..my kids just roll their eyes when they see the old wool being pulled out..True Beauty says last night "good job we live in Florida Mum and don't need that scarf you've been making for 3 years now" smart arse isn't she? wonder where she gets that? ;-) So I'm going out tonight..and I just happen to have a $70 gift voucher for Kohls..I feel a shopping trip coming on..
Hubby called last night..he pulled a muscle playing indoor soccer..I tried to tell him he's not one of the lads anymore to which he replied I can run the pants off any of them youngsters..uh huh..sure you can babe..as we were chatting one of the "lads" bought him a bag of ice so he could ice his leg down...LOL
lad : "here you go Master Chief...thought you might need this" hubby: "thanks son"

So Saturday is looking like this...shower, shopping, tan by the pool, girls night out, no crocheting ;-)

My "good things"
1. Hubby..he flipping cracks me up..says he's quit smoking too..uh huh..we'll see...seriously I hope he has..being in remission he especially does not need to be smoking...
2..My kids...I have no idea what my life would be without them..even though they are pretty much grown now they are my life..they have turned into these incredible young adults that I would want to spend time with even if they weren't mine..
3... The fellowship here in J Land.. it is something special..my hubby thinks I have found another cult to belong to...long story will share one day...
4....My better mood..you know how it is ladies..we set the tone for the house..if mama ain't happy ain't no one happy!!! ;-)
5..... Oldies..jamming out to 70's disco music as I type.. oh the memories...

OMG...please don't bring up the cult story. I am still sick! As for the 70's disco music, LOVE IT! I hope the big guy really did quit smoking. I am the worlds biggest PSA (public service announcement) for knocking that shit off since my parents died. I love you friend.
