Anyways the weekend is here..omg..are we ready?? I guess as ready as we will ever be!!! I am quite looking forward to seeing everyone. My nephew is bringing the latest member of the Hatfield clan..little Shay William.. he is 9 months old..bet he was a joy on the flight over huh?? lol..I can remember flying when mine were babies.. 9 hours on a plane... not fun...
Yesterday I met my Dh on base and we went to the Commissary (the grocery store) .. it was a flipping mad house!!! We got 2 carts full..yikes..and then went to the BX and bought some booze.. we are having a BBQ this weekend... so we are all set.. today I am finishing cleaning up the house and then I need a pedicure..the dog is off to the groomers to get foo-foo'd up..he stinks right now.. I think he got into the snake that DH killed in the back yard the other night. Yes we have snakes in our garden..big 'uns too!! I hate snakes, and bugs, and lizards and we have all of the above here in Florida..the only downside to living in paradise..well that and the bloody humidity!!!
Today is National Military Spouse Appreciation Day so happy days to all my fellow military spouses.. God Bless you all because as we know we really have the toughest job in the forces...;-) between that and Mothers day I ought to be getting pampered this weekend..what do you think?? ;-)
Well I am off to get showered and get this show on the road..I hope you all have a lovely Friday and a glorious weekend...

I remember visiting family in Indianapolis years ago and seeing lizards crawl up their patio window....yuck!! It was as ordinary to them as a fly crawling up mine, they didn't bat an eyelid - I don't think I could get used to that, or the snakes!!

When we have vacationed in Florida, there were two things i could not deal with..the heat and the lizards. EWW! I hope the doggie smells good now. I hope you have a great BBQ!

Oh, I hope your weekend goes beautifully! I'm sure you will all have a wonderful time. Today's weather was so gorgeous! Not much humidity at all....here's hoping it stays away for you! (Not to mention the snakes....ewwww!) ;o)
