I watched "BrokeBack Mountain" yesterday. I thought it was a beautiful love story.I don't care if it was about 2 guys it was a love story none the less and it made me cry..it was so moving. They truly were in love. The scenery was magnificent too. I sat and watched the entire thing and didn't even move. That's how good it was. So two thumbs up from me boys. ;-)
Hubby is leaving on the 26th for 6 months. It has been a few years since he did an actual deployment where he is gone for that length of time. Yes he was stationed in New Orleans and I was here but he could come home pretty much whenever he wanted to. This time he will be on the other side of the ocean. He will be able to come over and see us when we are in UK but still...6 months... damn I am so not ready for this.
My daughter has turned into the social butterfly since turning 21!! this is a good thing..she has had a less than perfect boyfriend for the past 5 years. He just now got a job and a car..she has been driving him around and doing everything for him until now..now she doesn't see him so much and there seem to be some new "admirers" on the scene..that can only be a good thing..my DH does not like current BF ..they do not speak..he comes to our house only when Dh is not here.. as you can imagine this has been a strain on all of us... tonight she s going out to celebrate Cinco DE Mayo with the "girls".. she got a new outfit and shoes...it is so nice to see her doing the stuff she should have been doing all along...I am happy :-)
We got the new Kitchen light up..it looks good..it's an "S" shape track light..the lights are terracotta colour..now all DH has to do is finish the painting and put the trim back up..and hopefully the cabinet door they forgot will be in next week..
I have rambled on enough..I hope everyone has a great day..TGIF!!!
