New Bed Buddy

Good Morning Campers! <winks at Russ>

How are we all this morning? Well it's finally happened..after 24 years of marriage I have a new Bed Buddy..yep sure do..Wanna see a pic??

                       The Original Bed Buddy

Cute ain't he?? LOL.. Seriously this thing is amazing..I have a had a crick in my neck for the past week and it has been getting worse...it was killing me yesterday after sleeping on different pillows Wednesday night so I went to the pharmacy and got me some Arthritis rub and my new "Bed Buddy"..you just put it in the microwave for a couple of minutes..wrap it around your neck and viola!! And yes I did take it to bed with me last night ;-)...I am also taking Ibuprofen around the clock so I guess the combination of all three has finally got me to the point where I can look over my shoulder comfortably....let me tell you getting old sucks....

Talking of sucking the weather did 4th July..it rained ALL day....we would venture out between showers but it pretty much rained continually..then when the rain stopped the wind kicked in so NO fireworks.. :-(  ..not the official ones off the pier anyway but we did see a few in the background and of course people were setting them off themselves..we did have a good time though...I ate way too much though..I was miserable ..it has been a  long long time since I over indulged like that and I paid for it..I was a slug yesterday... but what else are you going to do when you are stuck in a condo with 7 people with nowhere to go and the host happens to be Filipino and cooks the most amazing tasting things like marinated pork on a stick...crab and artichoke dip..the best steamed rice.. just to name a few....<sigh. But I am back on track and it was a good reminder of how overeating makes you feel...

So what are your plans this weekend?? I plan on spending some time out by the pool.. the weather of course is picture perfect today..blue skies and sunshine....we are waiting for the guys to come and finish the gutter and put the lights back up too..why is it workmen NEVER complete a job? they always leave a couple of annoying little details undone and have to come back... <sigh>

Whatever you are doing this weekend I hope you have a great one...

L

P.S. Quick shout out to my man Gaz who is home from Sunny Spain.. I missed you baby!!

Well it's raining all the time here in Germany, no flooding thankfully but plenty of rain none the less. This weekend is actually going to be in the 70's and no rain, so Chad's taking our 2 boys and 2 of our friends boys who's dad's are deployed currently fishing and camping Saturday into Sunday! It'll be nice to have a little break.

Why is it something always seems to go wrong when you go to your friends beachhouse now even the weather had a go lol. Sorry if it put a damp squip on your plans. My MIL swears by her wheat bags (like your bed buddy) and even has one shaped like a teddy bear they really help with her joints.

Plans for the weekend?  Plans?  About the only thing that gets planned in advance over here is weddings!  Oh, and what you're going to watch on TV while it rains.  If you want a BBQ you have to get on the phone the instant the sun comes out.  We English are nothing if not spontaneous!

I have a Bed Buddy, too!  I named 'him' though.  "Honey, I'm going to bed with Antonio..."  Hahahahahaha.... and then I needed another one for my knee, so along came 'Bob', too...

I know, wicked woman, aren't I?  LOL

Sorry about the neck pain. That's one of the worst places to get a crick. Good thing you found your Buddy! --Cin

Go easy on the ibuprofen.  Too much of it can cause kidney damage and/or liver problems.  Try getting a professional massage & keep using your buddy!

Hey, I have that exact bed buddy.  I got it one Christmas and the same day had a fever.  I heated it and it kept me warm.  I have loved it.  Now it's so dirty from use so I bought a new one - a different kind.  LOL.
