Todays the day

Good Morning campers!

I won this pretty graphic from Jeanette who opened a new Journal yesterday for us all to share our jokes and stuff that's makes us laugh....we Brit's especially like a laugh so stop by and take a look..incidentally I won for being one of the first 3 to post a funny...;-)

Anyway today's the day we take Ryan to the cardiologist to see if there is anything major going on with his heart... he will be getting a sonogram of his heart from what I can tell from the office notes..of course the good old navy base lost his EKG but I am sure they will do their own anyway...I actually feel better after reading the notes because I think Ryan was suffering from Costochondritis..which is inflammation of the Sternum...as opposed to anything more sinister..the tablets they gave him for the inflammation seemed to have worked too so fingers crossed and a little prayer if you don't mind...

I have to get going here so I shall cut this short... and leave you with my five good things for the day...

1. Beautiful spring like weather...

2.. two day work weeks... ;-)

3... Hubby is able to drive us to the appointment today..

4.... lunch with true beauty yesterday...

5..... Simon Cowell..he had me roaring last night..he is on fire this season!!!!

I think that is so great you have these two day work weeks!!  I hope the sonogram and EKG checks out okay.  Nick has a heart condition you know so this hits home with me.  I have been through so many of these ever since his first day of life.  We have to do it annually and keep a close watch on my Nick.  He has aortic stenosis.  One of the valves in his heart does not open and shut all the way so there is a systolic click and yes, mild regurgitation.  Corrective surgery is expected and we are very fortunate he has not had to have it yet.  The first cardiologist was one who did first heart transplant with a team of famous doctors on a baboon.  He said Nick would need surgery by age five.  But I have a praying mom and grandma and here Nick is all ready a teen.  Maybe they say in a year or two now though.  It is hard wondering when that surgery will be.  This year they will not let him play football.  I imagine you working in a doctor's office you will know all these medical terms I'm sharing.  Hugs,
Lisa     PS I'm on the way to check out the joke you shared.  Nice graphic!! Congrats!

I thought Simon was hilarious too!  I loved when he was holding that pom puppy.  Too cute!  Paula seems to be behaving herself this time.  I haven't noticed as much hitting.  LOL
I'll send up a prayer for your boy.  Sounds like they are taking good care of him.
