Monday Morning

Thanks to Donna for the graphic...;-)

Good Morning Campers!!!

So it's Monday morning..I don't really like Monday mornings..however as I now only work 2 days a week this is technically my Thursday..that's my way of dealing anyway.

Had a great weekend..the weather was gorgeous..I  spent 90% of the weekend in my backyard..pottering around ..refilled my pots and hanging baskets..weeded..swept and tidied and of course sat on the deck and read..it was probably warm enough to actually get some sun but I was content under the patio umbrella..we will have months of baking by the pool so I am enjoying the "cool" temps while I can...I have finally attracted birds to the feeders so it was fun to watch them..when my crazy dog wasn't scaring them off that is...I hope the squirrels won't do the same....we did have our usual Friday night fare..Saturday night was just the hubby and I so we indulged in a pizza..thin crust..chicken and mushroom..delish!! Last night we had shrimp and steak on the barby...I was sleepy by 8.30 though..I think it was all the fresh air all weekend..I forced my self to stay up though otherwise I would have been awake at 4am....I did our taxes online and was happy that we are getting a little bit back..nothing like last year but then hubby was in a tax free zone for 6 months and will be again this year so next years will be better....I don't know why I always put off doing them..fear of the IRS I guess...LOL..

Well that's all folks..I will leave you with my five things...have a great week...

L

1. Florida weather..

2..Great books..just finished "The Friday night knitting Club" by Kate Jacobs..fabulous chick lit...

3... laundry all done and put away...

4.... True Beauty starts her new job tomorrow..working for Bellsouth/ATandT..she has waited a long time to get in there..

5..... All of you reading this...

How wonderful it sounds to be out in SUNSHINE and warmth.  I'm looking forward to it. It sounds like a great weekend for you.  It is 3 degrees here today and most of the schools in our area because of the severe cold.  With windchill it is way below 0 degrees.  Tomorrow we'll get more snow.  Have a great day !

I've got a book for you.  I bought it awhile back, started reading it, then tucked it away in my closet.  I came upon it a few weeks ago, and was glad I did cuz I thought it was a really good read.  "Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bon's" by Lorna Landvik.

So no Mexican Friday night?  Won't you start Jones'n for it? lol

Must be nice to feel the warmth of the sunshine on your face. I don't like it when it's so cold you can't even lick your lips. Hope your week is good to you. Take care and enjoy,

Today I envy your warm weather!  It's still a big zip here in WI and we are STILL shoveling out of our -50 degree wind chill mess!~   Oh how I wish I could sit outside today and read a book :(  I so love WI but sometimes you want that ONE day in winter where it's in the 60's and you can go out without a jacket lol.  At least I got a warm feeling from reading about it in your entry today :)

HI Girl!  I am just getting caught up on entries.  I think I've gotten caught  up on your.  Glad Ryan's MVP is nothing serious .  I've got it, too didn't know on 2% of population has it...I would have thought it more.  But, maybe because I'm a nurse I just run into it more.

Great weekend we had!!  Going to the State Fair?  Mama Snowbird has talked me into it...will do it on Thursday.

Did you choose to work only 2 days a week?  I thought you were doing 3.

luv ya,  Bethe

I can't wait to be able to putter around in my garden again.  Our temps are still a bit too cold.  I had a garden all in pots last year because of my soil situation yet I still did good.  Grew over 70 tomatoes, several peppers, onions, carrots, and flowers, flowers, flowers.
