Good Morning Campers!
My thoughts are all over the place...I am tired of the heat..yes me the sun worshipper has had enough of the 100+ heat index days..we have had no rain in weeks..the grass is parched..the plants are drooping..the pool has a leak in it...the dog needs grooming...I need to go grocery shopping...I parked under a tree and my car is covered in this gross brown stuff that looks like rust but isn't...so I need to get my car washed...I feel like I have so much to do but this heat is just draining the tar out of me...I dash from air conditioned building to air conditioned car and back again....I can't wait for fall....YES I said the "F" word.. LOL
This is my to do list for today...
1. take dog to groomers..
2.. go to the base to do grocery shopping...
3... take hubby to a retirement ceremony at local pub at lunch time...
4.... pick him up...this way he can enjoy a couple of drinks with his cronies... ;-)
5.....take Ryan to work....
6...... pick Ryan up....
7....... do laundry...
8........ clean house...
9.........pick dog up from groomers...oops almost forgot him...LOL
10..........make dentist appointment for Ryan...
11........... water plants...
12............ get car washed
13.............and all the other little day to day chores like making the beds..vacuuming..cleaning the kitchen...etc etc...
And the forecast for today??? heat index of 107... <sigh>
oh well it could be worse right?? I could be moaning about the cold wet rain... ;-)
FIL is scheduled for surgery Monday morning....they are confident they can safely remove the tumour....any and all prayers would be appreciated...I am off to get started on my to do list....

Beat ya to the wash. ; ) My goofy self was up at 4 am doing laundry. LOL Once this last load dries, I may go back for a nap. tee hee Guess what???? It's RAINING here! I'm so happy about that. : ) Maybe it followed us back from NY/NJ??? [Sounds good, right?]

We have a cloudless blue sky here in bonnie Scotland too today at the moment the temp is just 70 but I think it will go up a bit yet its just perfect for once. Hope it cools for you. Love Joan.

Get on a plane and head north sweety. It's been rainy and cool here. Today it should hit 80, first time in a week. We'll see.

cannot say that the weather is any better here in KY...course it is expected to be unbelieveably hot in Florida...not here in KY...my grass is again a nice shade of sandy beige....oh where is the green food coloring...problem is I have to do it twice a day and we are under water restriction...and thank goodness for the pool....it is a blessing LOL...and I am tired of carrying water for the plants....have decided to let them go...but then cannot do that...so I carry more water for them...sheesh...and the circle never closes...good luck...happy day...hugs from KY...Ora
Life goes on, regardless of the heat or the poxy rain and cold. I couldn't handle tht heat either, and I'm another one of those that just loves it. Sorry to hear about a leak in your pool. That will cost some bucks I bet!

Sounds like you had a grand time at the beach...I am so glad except for the part about losing part of your bathing suit...but that is a memory that is not soon forgotten...LOL

Why do all the chores just stack up all at once?? Doesn't it seem that way? We have lots of HOT weather in store for us in the SW still...won't feel like fall til mid to late November. Have a great, productive day!

I am sick of our heat as well! We have been hovering around 115 for two weeks. We do not have grass. never have. My list of things to do today is very long as well. Don't do to much!

What's up with the weather. It's like late autumn here, with coooooold temps and rain, rain and yes, more rain! Is there no happy medium anymore???

That is such a nice long to do list... LOL looks like one of mine!!! And yes, it's even hot hot hot up here right now. Ok, forget about washing the car. You live in Florida so it should rain soon. If you haven't already taken the dog to the groomers, just tie him up to the car when it starts raining.
Forget the laundry. Go buy new clothes instead. Much more fun.
Does anybody really NOTICE when you clean the house? Wait until somebody says something about it. And then YOU say, "You know where the vacumn cleaner is, don't you? I'll show you how it works."

Hi Lyn,
Wow a heat index of 107'........awful!! Vegas hasn't cooled down one single bit either. For the last month, we have had triple digits every single day. Average temperature is around 106' to 110' and the nights only cool off to the mid to high 80's. I'm oh so SICK of it!
My thoughts and prayers are with your FIL :).
