Good Morning Campers!
I am feeling so much better this morning. I appreciate the kind comments and well wishes. I rested all day yesterday.. something that is very difficult for me to do but I realized that the reason I did not get over the first bout of this is because I over did it... so I took my meds, drank plenty of juice and rested and guess what? hubby made me grilled cheese and tomato soup for dinner...he's a keeper... ;-)
I haven't really done an entry since the weekend so let's re cap.
Saturday hubby and I went to the Flea market (boot sale) in St Augustine.. we hadn't been to this one before..it was fun.there were some sights to be seen..they sell beer at this one and you would be shocked at the amount of people chugging on beer cans at 10.30 in the morning..and most of them women too..LOL we wondered up and down the aisles and people watched..then we stopped at the outlets on the way home and did a little shopping.. I went to the Yankee Candle outlet and got 2 full size jar candles for $20..bargain...I kept coughing all day but had no idea of what was to come...Sunday was a beautiful day.. hubby golfed in the morning and I did laundry etc.. in the afternoon I started to feel like crap and when I woke up Monday morning I had a full blown cold..but I had to work as we only had the one MA there.. so I soldiered on all day...as I said the Dr gave me a RX for a Z pak..I stopped at the pharmacy to pick that up and then went home..as soon as I pulled up in the driveway and saw hubby standing there I lost it..you know how when you have been holding in tears all day? that's how bad I felt..I was pitiful!!! poor Ryan saw me crying and thought something bad had happened..then when he saw it was me sick he gave me a hug and a kiss on the forehead..this from my 6' 5" son..you know I was looking bad..;-) hubby got me a hot water bottle because my back was hurting from coughing so much..then I crashed...
The only good thing I can say about being sick is that you feel so happy when you finally feel better if that makes any sense.. and that I am so grateful that I have such a kind hubby..and that he was home to be able to help...
Well this is about as boring of an entry that I have ever wrote.. I am sorry to waffle on so much about myself...but I truly feel better this morning and almost back to normal.. unfortunately I have to go to work today..but after today I have a nice 4 day weekend to totally recuperate...

3...Ryan and Rachel spent the day together shopping on MLK day....
4.... That Ryan has opened a checking and savings account and has a debit card that he is responsible for..this is a big accomplishment for someone with learning disabilities...

I'm so glad your feeling better ! Its hard for most of us to just rest when we are sick. There are things to do!! But, I'm glad you took the time out to do that.

waffle all you want, Baby. I love reading your J. I just want you to feel better. Does boot sale come from England and also mean flea market? If so,why is it called boot sale. I LOVE the different words and phrases that mean the same thing. You talk about the soup and grilled cheese one more time and that is what i am having for dinner. Delicious.

Yeah for the Z-pack. It is my personal favorite also! I used to get sinus infections like a hobby. I would get so sick. No good. Glad you are on the mend.
That cracks me up about the people drinking at 10:30 in the morning and at a flea market no less. Oh my!

Awwwwwwwwww Lyn? You poor thing, I told you yesterday, its a bitch of a cold, it takes ages to get rid of too.
I made a little wish to wish you well......... Seems all the hubys have been re igniting their cooking skills, I came home to Roast chicken, brocolli, sprouts carrots and roast potatoes tonight, all courtacy of Morrisons as we aint got an oven.....The roasies were a bit spongy, but I didnt tell him that tho, ;-)
*sigh* there are still men out there that take care of their wives when they're sick? I was never "allowed" to get sick. Now I'm getting a cough, I think I might be catching something from all of the sick JLanders :)....j/k.....but really don't know where this cough is coming from?

I so glad you are feeling better. I think I am getting a cold. I started feeling achy and stuffy and sneezing yesterday. Just really feeling drained!! Its nice to have such a loving family huh? Thats always enough to make you feel a little better in itsself!!

I am so glad that you are feeling better. I am finally up and about myself. Now it is catch up time for me. I am so happy that when you write that you use the terms that we use and the terms that are used in the U.K. I read several journals from people in the U.K. and I often do not understand what they are saying.

Don't forget that antibiotics don't do anything against viral iinfections--just bacterial ones. We tend to take them automatically for anything illness-like, and they can cause resistance to develop.... That said, I'm glad you feel better and thanks for saying hi on my journal...I'm returning the favor...
