Food survey

I got this from our own resident chef Marie and the sweetest soul over at

http://journals.aol.co.uk/mariealicejoan/MariesMuses/

1.  What is the one kitchen gadget you couldn't live without?  My kitchen scissors..I go crazy with not being able to open things..I use these daily...

2.  What is your favourite snack food of choice?  Probably something like chips or cheesy crackers

5.  Who is the best cook in your family?  my aunty Marg...

6.  Have you ever had any cooking disasters?  oh hell yea!! the worst was this new recipe I was trying some kind of casserole..it tasted like socks..LOL and smelt like 'em too!! Yuck!

7.   If you were on death row and had to pick a last meal ever, what would it be?  French onion soup, followed by a big juicy grilled steak, mushrooms, homemade fries, English baked beans and to finish up Apple Crumble with custard.... yum!

8.  Chinese or Indian and why?  BOTH  I love both types of food, could never choose between the two.....although as I don't get Indian as much over here I would probably go with a good onion bahji, poppadoms, Chicken tikka Marsala and naan bread.....drool...

9.  Would you consider yourself to be a glutton?  I can be..

16.  What would you consider to be a romantic dinner?  feeding each other a big bowl of linguini over a candle lit table with a good bottle of bubbly...

17.   Best all time meal you have ever eaten and why?  Fish and chips out the bag the first time back in UK after emigrating to the sates..the reason is obvious!

18.  Sweet or Salty?  ......salty

19.  What is your signature dish?  that's too hard!!! The kids like my Lasagna though..

Ohhh, I can definitely see where you're coming with as far as the whipped cream goes.  I think fat content doesn't matter either does it?  As there would be some definite exercise involved!  Love your answers!  Would you like some British Baked Beans? I've got some going!

No brussel sprouts??????  And you call yourself a Brit????  LOL!  Now that's a first for me!  I thought all Brits were born LOVING brussel sprouts!  It's in the genes, isn't it?  Oh sweetie, I really enjoyed this entry!  I had to have a go though, with the brussel sprouts confession!
