Tuesdays with Lyn...

Good morning campers!

How is everyone?

Monday over with. I don't do Monday's..don't know why but I always feel fed up on a Monday morning driving to work. like a big sense of dread. Silly really I suppose but there you have it.

We have yet another Window company coming out today...every time we think we have made a decision someone else gives us another number..I told hubby that we have to decide after today..it's doing my head in. I want the windows in so we can have our alarm system installed then I will feel better about traveling again. We live so close to a lot of cool places.. I love going away for the weekend...so window guys again today... need to clean out the fish... do laundry... housework..oh the excitement of my days off... ;-)

I think my sister, Di and their partners will be coming over in June for their 40th...I can't wait. it's been a while since we had anyone come stay with us and I miss it. there is nothing I like more than a houseful,  cooking, drinking , hanging out at the pool..laughing and reminiscing...I love entertaining...

Well I obviously don't have a whole lot to talk about as I am rambling on about nothing...

I shall leave you with my five...

L

1. Peaceful house..just me and the dog...

2.. Good day at work yesterday..the new office manager is making some headway...

3...It has stopped raining....

4.... new book "The myth of you and me" by Leah Stewart..it's really good so far...

5.....All of you reading this...

It seems I spend most weeks just getting through to Saturday so that my time is once again my own.  Silly really.  Coz once Saturday comes along I don't do any of the things I've spent the rest of the week wishing I had the time to do!

I love having family to stay but it does help if you have nice family, I have friends who aren't so fortunate.

Good luck with the windows.

We purchased all our replacement windows at a home surplus store and Kevin and I replaced each one ourselves.  It's really not hard at all.  In one weekend, we had all windows replaced.  We also saved thousands.

Glad you had a good day at work regardless of not wanting to go.  Who really wants to go to work anyway?!

Yes, Mondays are rotten whereever you live!  I loved it when we visited Florida and we stayed in Orlando.  We travelled round a bit and went to Fort Lauderdale etc.  I loved Busch Gardens, you are lucky living in the middle of it all and the lovely beaches not so far away.  Hope you get your windows sorted out soon.  Thats great about your sister coming over, it will be lovely for you to see her.  Hugs.  Terry x

I don't like Mondays either LOL ~ Cindy and I will be looking at new windows sooner or later also... just another thing with working on our new home.  I love doing it tho...Cindy does too, it becomes a pride thing, not bad pride, but in accomplishment, you know?  Hugz, Teresa
Sorry I haven't been commenting, it's like I mentioned to Russ in his journal, it's me getting my head out of my behind LOL.

I must be really weird. Looks as if I am the only one who likes Mondays. Always have. I look on them as a new beginning but if I worked outside my home I may not look forward to them either. That is one of the pleasures of being older I guess. Paula

Sounds like your week was off to a great start, hopefully it will continue to do so. Hope you found a window "man"

I'm glad you're enjoying your book. a good book can make everything feel better!

Days off are somehow always spent doing housework. Doesn't really feel right. long gone are the days of sitting in front of the tv watching home & away and neighbours.

I'm glad you'll be having folks visiting in June, its nice having people you haven't seen in a long time over to stay.
