November

Morning Campers.

How are we all? November huh? Wow..doesn't seem possible to me. I love November..it's shopping month!! to me anyway.. I love going to the mall and seeing all the decorations for Christmas..all the sales..all the hustle and bussle...I love the cold weather...the cozy evenings in front of the fire..yes I have a fireplace here in sunny Florida..we use more for the ambiance than for heating but I love it just the same...I don't mind the dark evenings...the candles look great..you feel like eating proper food again after months of grilling outside...can you tell I love fall?? Our fall and winter are about the same here..we might get a couple of days in January where we get a freeze but nothing like the winters I remember back home when you had to run outside and warm your car up before you could drive..when you all sat around the gas fire in the morning eating your ready brek.. when it took half an hour to get your snow suit, hat, gloves, scarf on! LOL ahh the memories....

I feel better today.. I worked yesterday and we were sooooooooooo busy.. I came home ate and literally fell into bed... I was a little down as well after hubby left but now I am just excited for his homecoming.. looking forward to Christmas..decorating the house etc...

Halloween was fun..lots of little ghosts and goblins..fairies seemed to be popular this year.. I did have one disturbing thing.. a bigger kid..A boy..dressed as a gangster with a bandana and a fake gun!! I told him he better be careful toting a gun around like that...that someone could take him for real and shoot his arse! can't believe his parents let him out like that ( if they knew) I made him take off his bandana and put away the gun before I gave him any candy..and under there was this sweet little boy..called me maam and everything....made me sad really that kids think it's cool to imitate the criminals....

It is chilly here this morning..I need to find some socks for my tootsies..sitting here in the Florida room with the windows open.. trying to decide what to do today...I have plenty of choices but none are tickling my fancy...my choices I mean houseworkof course...LOL

Hope you all have a pleasant Thursday...and that you don't too bad of a sugar hangover... I don't care to see another piece of chocolate again for weeks..unless of course Ainz wants to send me a REAL dairy milk bar.... ;-)

you and i are opposites with the weather.....i get depressed in the winter with the below zero ice cold and ice and snow here...i leave for work at 9:30PM and can not stay home with the family and enjoy the comfy nights. Ugh, makes me depressed thinking about it!
I am sad about that boy too with the gun and bandana. I bet his parents had no idea he was dressed like that.
Have a good Thurs.

I had absolutely no trick or treaters at all on Halloween.  Shame really, cos it's the one house where they'd be guaranteed to get chocolate!!  Give me your address and I'll gladly send you some Dairy Milk...the queen of all chocolate!!  Much as I'd love to be where you are, I couldn't cope with not being able to have my daily fix.
It's cold and frosty over here right now...loving it!
Big hugs,
A xxx

I love fall and winter for all of the reasons you list.  It's just cozy.  My two year old was a fairy this year: Tinkerbell!
It was cold last night and got down to 30 degrees.  Love it!  When I think of how hot it was this summer, it makes me happy!

I don't mind the winter...I love the feeling of being all cocooned and warm inside while the wind blusters around outside.  We didn't get any trick or treaters, but I expect that is because we are so far out in the countryside.  It's not really all that big over here anyways.
Have a great day!

I'm ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas as well.  I also love shopping at this time of the year, but I don't like how rude some people become during the holidays.  Have a good Thursday.

Adam was being a little bit of a sissy and telling me that it was Cold in NE FL, but i'm not sure i'm believing it. its much worse over here, but he keeps insisting that its colder there. (smiles) let him wait until he's here in (hopefully) Feb, then he'll see cold! lol!

I love fall, I love Christmas. My fav holiday, though i do think its all about being in love and being loved and right now i'm pretty lonely!

Hope you're enjoying your week!
