Good Morning Campers.

Hope this finds you all doing well.  25 days to go people..did you hear me?  25 days!! woo hoo!! And ...drum roll here..... 7 days and a wake up till my hubby will be home....can we say excited?? LOL between him coming home and Christmas coming I can hardly stand myself...the girls at work asked me yesterday if I had to be so damn happy all the time....lol...speaking of work the MA gave her notice...it went better than expected as no one was really surprised..this girl is a good worker but very highly strung and moody...and LOUD..so they had "overheard" her bitching all the time about "I am so out of here" etc.. so they weren't really surprised..her timing sucks yes but hey we'll survive.. I think they have made a decision on the new office manager..I met her yesterday..she is very pleasant..and seems to know her stuff..and she is older than me..LOL.. I work in an office of the young and the beautiful...I am 14 years older than the Dr's...this woman also has some MA's that wouldn't mind coming with her from the office she is at now so fingers crossed...

I am off now until Monday and then I start working 3 days a week indefinitely...M-W..not a bad work week..and at least hubby will be home to take some of the load off the running around...he has become quite the chef too so he can have it... ;-)  It is going to be an adjustment for sure having him home all the time..he has been gone on and off for 3 years now...

I am staying home this morning and getting the bills paid and writing the Christmas cards...Ryan has an orthodontic appointment this afternoon too...

Spoke with my sister.. my dad almost killed his damn self...silly man went fishing..in the cold and damp..only had a thin jacket on..sat there freezing for 4 hours..when he got home he crawled in the front door and was shivering so hard my sister thought he was having a fit..she called the Dr. out and they took his temperature..he had mild Hypothermia!!! The silly old goat!! had not had anything to eat or drink either.. he really has gotten bad..relies on my sister for everything..and he is quite capable of doing for himself...just lazy...thank god after some hot soup and tea and being tucked in bed with his electric blanket he was fine....good job my sister was home when he got back....I could slap him!! I love him to death but he is enough to drive you to drink...now I know what my Mum was on about all those years...you can't help but love my dad..he is the darn cutest thing and has this helpless little boy look about him... BUT if it wasn't for my sister he would be eat beans out of a tin and live down the garden in his shed... ;-)

Well there I go prattling on again...have a great Thursday...

L

My five....

1.Spent a couple of  happy hours in the bookstore the other day..my idea of heaven..

2..Drinks with the girls after work last night...

3... The docks along the river have their Christmas lights on..and the boats too..it's almost time for the annual Boat parade along the riverfront complete with Santa..Jimmy Buffet style... ;-)

4....My neighbour bought me the cutest candle set for letting her dog out while she was away for Thanksgiving....

5..... 7 days and a wake up.....

I am excited for you!  What a nice bunch of things to look forward to!  I love when I have things to look forward to.
Good thing your dad has your sister to care for him.  How scary for her I'm sure.

Awwww, your hubby's coming home!!  That's awesome!!  You guys must be relieved at the office that the new manager might be bringing along some MA's to help lighten the load on all of you.  I hope everything works out!  I'm impressed that you are starting your Christmas cards already... I still have to do mine.  Your father does sound cute... a bit worrisome, but cute, lol.
xoxo, Heather

Woo Hoo!  Not long now to wait!  How I remember those exciting homecomings and what a joy doubled with the anticipation of Christmas as well!  YOu BE happy girl!  Don't let anyone dampen your spirits!  I could spend hours in bookstores looking at everything, especially at this time of year!  At the time I am writing this...there's only 6 days and a wake up!
