Happy Thanksgiving!

Good morning Campers!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

As you can see I am decorating my blog for Christmas and I updated the photo of me in my sidebar (can anyone tell me how to resize it?) and now for some reason my add comment button and all those other funny little links at the bottom of the page have disappeared so if you want to leave me a comment just click where the add comment button should be and it works..I have no idea why it's not showing up as I obviously have my comments on....that's what you get for decorating so early aye?? ;-)

I have many things to be thankful for this morning and here are a few of them in no particular order...

My health....

My family...

My beautiful cozy home...

I live in Florida!!!

My little dog...

Great friends..

Being a part of J Land...

Enjoy your day and remember to always count your blessings each and every day not just today.....

L

Hmmm, in each corner of your pic, go over it with your mouse and it should let you push and shove it into the size that you want. That's what I do anyways..lol!

Loving your festive journal. I haven't trimmed mine up yet but I will be doing! Merry Xmas Lyn....maybe a bit early, but I have a month to keep saying it to ya! haha!!

Luuuuuurrrrrveee ya!

Have a beautiful Thanksgiving day, Lyn.

Thanks for being a wonderful Journal friend.

Blessings,

Cindy

it's the color of your links that made the links disappear. Change the link color and try that. Everyone is breaking out Christmas I'm behind. To resize you right click on the pic and arrows should come up all around it just click the arrows and drag it inward to make it smaller.
Take care, Chrissie

I'm not sure how you can fix that, when my pictues are too big I just dlick on the picture and then on the little dot in the corner and point the arrow inward to shrink it.  Does that make sense?  After today, I'll start making some changes in my journal too.  HAPPY THANKSGIVING!  'On Ya'- ma

I do what the last commentor does to shrink my pictures as well.  Also depending on which site you store your photos on you can opt to save it as a thumbnail, which is what I do for my sidebar pictures on photo bucket.  Hope you have a lovely day Lyn!

I just click onto the picture and re-size with the tiny squares you see on each corner of the pic at top and bottom, until it is the size I need it to be.Other than that I do believe you can re-size it in paint program put it back into your picture folder and then upload it to whichever pic program you use to put them  in your blog.I am no expert LOL at pooters but it works for me and always has done.I hope it helps.I did my sidebar last week LOL.So I was a real early bird Lynn Your makeup looks lovely in the picture.Love the colour pf your lipstick.Have a great Thanksgiving .As for the buttons ask Maleka is it at Joe's blog. She will get back to you and help with that one.Take Care God Bless Kath

At least wait till Thanksgiving is over before you put up the Chirstmas stuff.  Decrease the size.  Use Microsoft picture manager.  Once you have the pic on the screen hit edit and drop all the way down to compress picture.  Hit Web page and save.  ~ Mike

Ok leave it to me to post the real comment :-). REPLACE THAT PICTURE. I say that because I think you should have one of you smiling. You have a great smile & it should be on your sidebar.  You have the red & green thing going on & the next door neighbors are playing Rocking Around The Christmas Tree. I'm not ready for Christmas it is 67 degrees here right now & I'm eating a strawberry. ~Mary

Happy Thanksgiving to you Lyn and your wonderful family :) the finned and furry ones also!
To change the size of your photo...go to your about me edit button - go back into it....double click on your photo (or is it right click?) anyway, there should be a thin black box with little arrows on each side of the pic...what you want to do is click on those arrows and narrow/shorten your photo till you get it to the size you want :)  if it doesn't work let me know 'k?  Hugz and Love, Teresa

hi, I always resize my pics by going to your pic right click, go to open with, and go to paint, then go to image, then stretch and skew, and under the place, put reduce 50% or whatever you want, but be sure to put the same amount of skew the same, like if you put in 50% , you put 50% in both boxes available, the top one and the bottom one.  Any questions let me know, its really easy, the save it.  Hugs Deb

HELLO!!! And HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
I saw that your blog was on the most commented list on the main journals page and I had to come by and say HELLO! I LOVE your Christmas look! I am decorating my pages for the Christmas Holidays too. Thanks for the great idea. I figured while my 23 pound turkey is cooking and my husband and son watch the football game, and since all my prepping is already done for our Thanksgiving dinner, I would play o line for a little while. My girls areplaying outside in the crisp fall CA air and it's just a GORGEOUS day here. We have the fireplace going and my fur babies are sleeping in their bed right in front of it. Many things to be thankful for. That's for sure. Reading your thankful list was great.

I am in the proces of opening up my journals to more people (they are private right now) but if you would like to be a reader in the future, just let me know.

Hope to read more about you in the future! We have several common readers already from what I have seen by your commentors.

Have a blessed and beautiful Thanksgiving.
Jen

I agree, we should be thankful every day, not just the one.  Great to have a 'focus day' like Thanksgiving though.  Got to feel a bit sorry for the turkeys though haven't you!!  Happy Thanksgiving.
