Good Morning campers!
Haven't written for a while so let me play catch up here.
Thursday.
Get to work to be told by the office manager that the part time MA called in sick. She was only working till lunch as it was because she was going away for the weekend..do you think for one minute she was really sick? NO! She had asked everyone to cover for her but as we were short staffed anyway no on could so she called in. So I was the only one working in the back..it wasn't too bad.. I actually work better under pressure..I guess a little too well because the docs decided we didn't need to bring in the other MA who was scheduled for the afternoon shift...the day flew by let me tell you!
Friday.
I did have help at work. It wasn't a particularly busy day but we had a lot of little incidents that were frustrating.. I was so glad to get out of there! We went for our usual Mexican food then took our friends boat along the river to the pub and had a drink on the dock then a moonlit cruise back..it was amazing..his boat is gorgeous... wish I knew enough about boats to explain it to you but I don't..it's huge though..looks like something from a James Bond movie ..
Saturday.
I took my god daughter Madison to the mall for lunch and a little shopping. Her Mum and Dad were celebrating their anniversary with a lunch out. After they got back her mum and I went looking for a dress for her sons upcoming wedding. Let's just say after 6 hours we still had not found her a dress and she was pissed at me cuz I bought the first one I tried on! ;-) Guess the gym is paying off.... I picked up Chinese food on the way home and then crashed..I did watch a good movie..it's British called "On a clear Day"abouta bloke who gets made redundant and decides to swim the English channel...it was pretty good...reminded of the "Full Monty" story line about daft british blokes bonding...
Sunday.
To-do list.
Laundry. Grocery store. Returns DVDs. Lay by pool and read. Throw something on the grill for supper. Sleep. LOL.
So what has been going on with everyone? I am way behind on alerts. I plan on sitting here with my cuppa and my rich tea biscuits and catching up. ;-)

Wow, you have been very busy...nice you were able to have lunch with your daughter, Madison...love that name. And you even got a shopping trip worked in too, how nice. Enjoy the week ahead...hope it is special.

You have such COOL life...working (I always wanted to work in the medical field) going to the gym, going out on boats for drinks, shopping......such fun!!! Sounds like a busy week, but filled with good times!

That wasn't very team like of the part time MA to call in when you were short staffed.Especially as she wasnt sick.It's people like that that let the employers and other team members down.I wouldnt cover for anyone who was swinging the lead.Sounds like you've had a busy old weekend.Yep time sure flies.Enjoy the rest of your day and don't go overdoing it.You are entitled to a well earned rest you know.

I haven't been up to anything because Ma won't let me!!! HOWEVER, I think I've got her talked into letting me take Dot out for a walk today. Somethine tells me though that she's gonna end up going along. But that's cool. I don't mind. As long as Dot gets to do SOMETHING today other than lay next to me. I'm a leftie so I haven't even been able to sit on the porch and throw the frisbee for her.
Loved hearing about that boat ride. Man.... I LOVE Florida. You are so lucky to live there! :)
Hee....the Full Monty. Loved that movie, but....I loved Calendar Girls better. Full Monty was the first movie my daughter ever saw with British humour and she's been hooked ever since. :-D (She says "They're just...funnier!")

This year is flying by.
I hate to shop because i usually dont have any money so i am one to buy quickly....Meg sure can work a clearance rack. I hope you dont have too much work this week and can sit by that lovely pool.

It's May 1st ~ where is this year gone? You've certainly been kept busy but looks like you've been doing some good stuff in between. I've not heard of that movie but I like Full Monty so will have to look it up :-)
