TGIF

Good Morning Campers!!

How is everyone this morning? It is a beautiful sunny morning after a week of up and down weather so I am planning on sitting by the pool with my book. I have already been to the gym.. done 2 loads of laundry..made all the beds..tidied the whole house..fed the dog..paid the bills and caught up on alerts! Love mornings like this. It is cool enough to have the windows open and there is a breeze blowing through.

Our friends that have just purchased a condo at the beach have invited us down today so we may go if hubby is agreeable..I would love to go and hang on the beach and maybe go out to the pub tonight down there..they have room for us to stay the night so no worries about driving back....

Nothing much else to report...I did have a little incident at the gas station last night the automatic shut off to the pump when the tank is full didn't work and so my tank overflowed gas all over me and the fore court..it stunk pretty bad but other than that everything was okay....glad nobody around was smoking... :-(

Have a great weekend everybody....

L

My five....

1. Ryan is feeling much better.. just a cold I guess...

2..Rachel won $100 last night at a trade fair for her job...

3... Sunshine after a week of gloomy weather and cool temps....

4.... My little god daughter is fine after a big scare.. her mum found her unconscious on the floor....after a 2 night stay at the children's hospital and every test in the book she seems okay...tentative diagnosis is "drop attacks"  a seizure that causes the body to just "drop"

5..... It's the weekend...;-)

ah love your good news but can you send some warmth up this way????????this weather sucks big time. Its way too cold way too late in the year for normal. We usually only have a day or two of cold but now we had a wee few days of warm just once!!!!!!!!

You did all that in a MORNING???  I'm impressed!!  We in UK think the other way about opening windows - not 'is it cool enough' but 'is it warm enough'.  That's my criterion anyway!  Love reading your blog. Angie, xx

That would be awesome to spend some time at the beach!!!  How's the weather down there?  We are chilly up here but the sun came out today and everyone is glad to see it.  Sounds beautiful where you are.  I always loved this time of year in Florida.  Oh you just reminded me I have bills to pay.  Hugs,

Hi, Brit, I found your journal on the blog site and decided to come and check you out.  I also visit Terry of Bowl of Cherries, and Jeannette of Jottings. and Serendipity. Oh, and not to forget Zoe of Domestic Abuse.  I get such a kick out of her English expressions.  I do love English literature and film.  Be back! As I like what I find.  You are a lively writer.   Gerry

I remember from one of your earlier entries that you really felt left out when your hubby helped them move and then sat in a pub overlooking the ocean afterwards.  I really hope you get ot go this weekend and really enjoy yourself!

OOOh I wannna go hang at the beach. I thought our weather was on a upturn (here in TX0. Tonight it's dropping into the 30s with a chance of snow in the morning. Not a  lot. Just enough to be able to say it snowed on April 14th.LOL I don't know WHEN to pack away the kids' winter clothes.  I guess July would be safe. LOL
Well, have a good time at the condo, don't forget the sunscreen, drink one for me at the publ. Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs  Barb
