Good Morning Campers!!
Today marks the one year mark for Brits Blog! I have always kept a Journal of some sort on paper and I love to read so when I saw the ad for AOL Journals on the welcome page one day I had to check it out. I am nosy too so reading about peoples daily lives soon became addicting to me.. one of the first Journals I read was Lisa Jo's..I remember telling her that I wanted to start a Journal but was sure no one would be interested in what I had to say..how wrong I was!! At first I just wrote.. then I got comments and links to other Journals..I learned all about alerts and so began my morning rituals of checking alerts and commenting...now I don't know what I would do without my J Land family.. you have all become a very big part of my life and I can't imagine my life without you in it...of course as in the real world there are a few bad apples that try to spoil the whole bunch but for the most part my Journal experience has been a positive one...I am blessed beyond belief and I am happy to be a part of J Land... I think I have come a long way in a year...click here to read my first entry:

ah I love Lisa Jo. I was the sixth person to start a journal when they started here in j land. Its been a long fun ride. its changed alot since that first year like any nieghborhood has. But its been wonderful and alot of times the best comfort you can have. Someone is always here if you need them.

Happy Anniversary!! My journal too will soon be a year old. I've never thought it's much cop but people keep commenting on it so there must be somthing! Just like you, my J-land friends are now very real people with real lives. Keep on writing - I love reading your journal and sharing in your fsmily's life.

Well, happy anniversary, Lin. You do a suuper blog! I've been watching the reports on the massacre on Fox News over here and my husband is watching my reactions. I think he learns about my culture by watching my reactions! Those poor, poor families. I also feel sorry for the murderer's family. They must be full of horror, shame and are devistated.

Forgive me sweetness...i am days behind in reading.....thank God i was supportive to you....i am so so so so so so glad you started your journal. If we ignore the petty stuff that comes along and stay real and true to who we are and have love and compassion for each other, then J Land is such a wonderful addition to our lives. Personally i think you are a riot and i love you and i think about you everyday and i value your opinion...you are so real, so honest, so pretty. Just a damn great woman.
