Saturday

Morning campers.

How was your friday night? mine was okay. Still didn't watch the movies. No sweat. Spent the day with the "kids" at the mall. Let's just say they both got stuff. And I am the coolest Mum on the planet right now. ;-) Glad I could treat them. We had a nice day.. went to lunch at TGIF.. the mall is full of Christmas goodies...couldn't believe it..halloween stuff on sale already and straight onto christmas..guess we'll bypass Thanksgiving..nothing too retail about that holiday so it doesn't count...kinda sad huh? I think so...hallmark did have a few Thanksgiving cards and tableware... but that was about it...

It's a little cooler here this morning thank God.. it hit 90 degrees her again yesterday.. that's Florida for ya.. blink and there will be a temperature change.. I hope it doesn't get to humid today..was hoping to have lunch outside at the pub with the girls...

I bought 8 of these yesterday.. 25% of the proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen fund in support of Breast cancer. I am giving one to each of the girls at work... in honour of my darling best friend Di in UK who is bravely battling Breast cancer.. she called me the other morning to tell me her head was "tingling" and felt like someone was pulling her hair..and yes you guessed it ..it started falling out later that day... she just had her second round of chemo Thursday... my love and prayers are always with her..and with the brave women here in J Land who are also battling this... you are all an inspiration to me....

Not much else to talk about this morning...I am actually caught up on my alerts which is a good thing...not sure I am getting them all but that's a different story.. congrats to all on the Vivi nominations..all well deserved...I chose not participate but I admire those who did...and I can appreciate the hard work that went into organizing it...

Have a lovely weekend...I am reading another great book..."Madame Mirabou's School of Love" by Barbara Samuel..I can't say enough about this author..she is fabulous..she has such insight on women and her characters leap off the page and become instant friends.. did I ever tell you it is one of dreams to write a book..that and open a bookstore.... you know one of those cozy little places that serves advice along with the coffee..has someone who will read your tealeaves or tarot cards..where there is someone always knitting and the kids are welcome to crawl around your feet....men bashing would be encouraged and the kleenex free.... sounds like heaven huh??

I love Thanksgiving; it is one of my favorite holidays! I guess there just isn't much to shop for it besides food so the stores don't spend much time on it! But I love it and have so much to be thankful for this year!
Have a great weekend!!

It seems that Thanksgiving always gets bypassed.  The reason is that there isn't money to be made outside of the grocery store for this holiday.  I see that you say you are mischeivous . . . you should elaborate more on that LOL.  Have a nice weekend.
