Morning Campers.
It's a blustery, chilly damp morning here in the sunshine state. We had some serious rain last night. Probably 3 inches. Of course I watered the plants, topped up the pool and washed my car yesterday so naturally we got the first rain in well over a week!!
It's been a busy week. I have been spending time with my sister in laws. Last night we went for mexican food and Margaritas..without the kids..that was nice as we actually got to talk. Sharon and I go way back..before I was dating her brother we went to the same school ..we talked a lot last night about how things have changed in the family..about our Mums deaths..having kids..what brats we were in school...it was fun reminiscing...
I am invited to a Halloween party tonight..a costume party...I want to go but I don't want to drive..I hate driving especially at night but I 'll see how it goes...I have 2 costumes I can choose from..one is the one I wore last year when lester and I went as Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne..I also have a black cat costume ..
The Christmas party this year for Lesters squadron is being held downtown at the Hyatt on the riverfront. I need to find something to wear. I am not a foo foo kind of a girl but I guess I am going to have to find a dress. Ewww... We already have our room booked for the night. I am really looking forward to it. Not so much the party but just being downtown ..it's gorgeous down there at christmas time..all the lights...not to mention the restaurants, shopping, moonlit boat rides along the river....bliss..
Speaking of hubby he will be here tomorrow...for less than 48 hours but who cares?? It will certainly be "quality" time.. ha!
I hope everyone has a great weekend.. it's the big college football rival game today downtown Jacksonville..Georgia Bulldogs versus Florida Gators....go GATORS!!!!!!!!!!

Lucky you...I'd jump at the chance to go to a nice Mexican restaurant right now and dig into a nice strawberry Margarita! Pretty gloomy weather here today as well...
