Mondays Musings...

Go Jags!!! That's all I got to say about that... LOL

So it's Monday Morning...hate mondays..especially ones that are a "holiday".. Only if you work for the Government are you off...other wise it's a regular day .. even the kids are in school down here....but the traffic will be light..always a bonus... ;-)  I am working 4 days in a row this week..got myself organized yesterday.. have the menu for the week planned...being out of the house 12+ hours a day you have to do that...I don't get in till 7.30pm at the earliest...and I just realized that it will be getting dark when I drive home...ewwwww hate that....anyway I am ready.. I truly don't know how you all do it every day... I am happy with my 20 to 30 hours a week...12 hour days 4 days a week is just too much for me..but then I am the oldest one in the office and the only one who is doing it alone...with hubby away..you know what I mean...anyway kudos to all of you who are working full time and holding down the fort at home....my hats off to ya!!

There seems to be so much negativity in J Land these days..so much sadness, illness, hard times, worries, stress etc etc I guess it's inevitable just as in "the real world" but it breaks my heart... I wish I had a magic wand and could wave it and have everyone happy, healthy, and content.  And just like the real world I know that's not possible....but I can dream huh? By the way I am not for one nano second complaining just observing...your Journals are for you to write in as you wish and I am glad you share your lives..the good and the bad...it just seems that there is a lot of suffering going on and I am sorry for that....and I wish everyone happier and healthier times ahead....it makes me realize just how lucky I am and not to take things for granted...

Hope everyone has a great week...

L

Hello Lyn,
I agree, lots of sadness in J Land.  I too am adding to the sadness these days... have been complaining in my journal about our struggling by... Rob works all the time but it is never enough and me and my two part time jobs... and at least I have flexibility for the children... I would die if I had more full time work....but then again I have so much guilt for not working full time and bringing in more bacon.  I just keep hanging in there and biting my tongue.  Hugs,
Lisa

I salute those that work full time and take care of a house also.  I don't know how they do it.  Yes, I've seen the sadness in J-land too.  I sure hope things start getting better for some.  Have a great day.

Columbus Day is a sham of a holiday and always will be.  Afterall that dude never discovered America, just the West Indies.  Just another excuse to deny you services such as banking and post office as well as allowing some children to be home causing working families to ante up more money for a babysitter.  Anyway, glad to see you are OK and that you are being thoughtful about so many that are struggling.  Have a good week.

That sucks, its a holiday but not everyone gets it off!
Its true that there is so much saddness in jland and because we love and care about people we do wish we could take their troubles away because we know they deserve so much more. it does open your eyes about life and the world.

yep, i take my hat off to full time working moms! it aint easy, but its gotta be done.
