Sunday Sunday....

Good Morning Campers...

How is everyone this morning? There is a nip in the air here and I am loving it..I have the windows open as we "speak" and it feels so good..I will have to close everything back up and out the air on before noon as it is going to be in the high 80's here again but at least I get to air the place out for a few hours...

So I went to the Lisa Williams show...I have to say I am now a bit skeptical!!!! there was a lot of " can anyone relate to a Bob?" um....audience of 500 or so of course someone will know a Bob that's passed..then when the person acknowledged the questions seemed more like a process of elimination.."did he have a pain in his side?" then the person would answer no he had cancer of the liver..then she would respond.."did he lose his hair and was upset about it?"  see where I am going with this??  anyways it was still a lot of fun and she did do one true reading where she told a widow that her hubby had seen her scotch tape his picture frame..that was real to me because how would she have known that?  like I said a fun evening but a bit of an eye opener..and no my Mum did not come through although I could have "related" to one of the Princess Di stories....I wore my Mums ring and somehow can't bring myself to take it off...

I drove with Jen to Tallahassee and back yesterday to help her parents clean out their storage unit...bit of a waste of time as they didn't keep much..and my Saturday was spent in a car when the weather was almost perfect but oh well..I WILL spend sometime today enjoying this weather out on the deck....I went a little bonkers in Booksamillion and bought 4 more books to read.... ;-)

Hope you all are having a great weekend...

L

I've had several readings over the years, some bad, some good, and one or two excellent ones. But you're right, it's the little, seemingly, insignicant things that make the difference.

Most of the audience won't 'get it' but the person being read will spot it and, in some cases, it can change their lives. Hopefully, for the better.
Glad you had a fun day at least.

I've been to a few readings with the same results.. tho some are good.  I had to wonder tho... as I read the 'did he have pain in his side' and the answer was no... he had liver cancer...   liver cancer can be very painful... and in the side... :::sigh::: but oh well.  Glad you enjoyed yourself.  Have a fabulous day today!

Lyn- that's one thing i really like about John Edward....he says at the beginning just answer the questions directly, DO NOT give him any additional information. i haven't seen Lisa Williams, but i am a definite believer when it comes to John. i hope you enjoy your Sunday :)

My friend Holly & I used to go to readers, sometimes they were good sometimes it was so "plain" it could have pertained, but not necessarily. We did go to this crazy lady in Somerset once (she was scary) and she hit us dead on with a deck of playing cards...never went back to her after that time.

Enjoy your day Lyn....it's foggy & chilly here this morning.

Did Lisa Williams have a premonition that you would buy four books?  Now that would be interesting.  I have a feeling I see a no panty day in your future and past.  LOL  Have a good Sunday.

I'm not big into these people that think they can communicate with the dead.  Maybe it is possible but most of them are just phoneys.  I hope you have a happy Sunday. : )

Enjoy those books!  I love to read!

I can understand why you would be skeptical...  Unless something is said specifically, it really is pretty general/broad reading.  I went to John Edwards a few times in San Francisco, and the place was packed!  I went the first time with the friend of mine who is a medium, and the second time with a bunch of girls from work.  We all purposively wore red and sat together.  For a moment there, I thought he was talking to me, but he was really talking to the lady directly behind me a few rows.  It was freaky.  Your love ones come to you in their dreams.  My father has many times.  Have a good Sunday!  Julie

I was reading over your journal, and i just wanted to tell you if you have not yet read this book, you might want to pick it up. It is called The Shack by William P. Young. It is on the #1 New York Times bestseller list. ---oh yeah, your hair is cute!

I love John Edwards...the Medium, not the cheating AH politician, and i had a friend go to his show and they say he has mikes hanging around and listens in on women talking and then has spotters working for him that tell him who said what. I keep trying to refuse to believe that! At least you went and enjoyed yourself! XO

I'm VERY skeptical about mediums, if my dad wants to tell me something, I think he'd come right to me, not through some stranger... LOL!! However, it does sound like a fun time!!

I am quite skeptical about these things myself.  Not that I believe that they can't actually see these things.  I am sure they do, but I am skeptical about where this talent of theirs comes from and what the purpose behind it all is . . .
WE had a lovely weekend weather wise over here.  Finally some glorious sunshine to enjoy!

Lisa Williams used to be on cable, but now the show is gone. I'd LOVE to see her too! Sorry your Mum didn't come through. I think I'd be disappointed if I had the chance to see Lisa or John what's his name......Edwards.....and not hear from SOMEONE~

Hope you get some quiet time in the sun today!

I'm posting this on Monday, and today wasn't nearly as bad as the weekend was, so things are looking up here.  LOL
Love ya!
