Good Morning Campers!!!
How are we all this fine Wednesday/Hump Morning??? There is definitely a chill in the air this morning..okay so not really a chill because it's still 70 degrees out there but it is windy and cooler than normal and I am so ready for some fall like weather that I'll take it!!!
Things are going well here in my neck of the woods...had a great weekend last weekend..Friday I went out to lunch with Jen and to the movies..we saw "The women"..awesome chick flick and get this...not one single male in the entire movie!!!! how clever!! I always knew we didn't need them anyway :-p I highly recommend you go with your gal pals to go see it....Jada Picket Smith plays a lesbian and she has some of the funniest one liners in the film.... Saturday I went shopping at my fav store Kohl's..got some new jeans and a couple of tops...then onto the baby shower for the Dr. at work...after that we headed to the pub for some much needed drinks and to dish the dirt...LOL...Sunday all the lads in the neighbourhood that drink all my soda and eat all my food paid me back my helping Ryan do the yard work...then we had a mini football party and our Jags won their first game of the season...yay!! I worked Monday and Tuesday and now I am off again for 5 days..yes I am aware I have the best schedule on earth...don't hate!! Thursday is the Lisa Williams show..can't wait...Friday is girls day again and Saturday I am driving with Jen to Tallahassee to help move her Mums stuff out of storage...next weekend is the official "over the hump" party for the squadron..meaning we are over half way through this deployment..we are holding it at the base.. we have a DJ and everything..woo hoo!! Then Nov 1st I am going to Savannah for the night with another friend to go shopping and to see an Irish band...so as you can see I am keeping busy and getting out there and am officially off the pity pot ;-)
Have to share a little bit of gossip..as you know I hate our office manager...I don't know if I told you however that she fired one of my co workers.."just because" and replaced her immediately with one of her friends..did not advertise the job etc etc..it was an inside job per se....well the fired co worker is now getting unemployment and is suing our office to the tune of $650,000!!!!!! She has pages and pages of documentation on how she was treated...smart girl kept a journal...I am so glad that this "person" will finally get her comeuppance!!!!! they have not said anything at the office yet but there has been a lot of behind closed doors whispering going on...yes I am gloating...:-P

nice of the boys to pay ya back by helping around the yard.... sometimes teenagers can be so cool ::grin:: ok so most of the time around my house... surely yours too as the football party is an example. Congrats to the Jags... thought about you when I saw the score. Interesting bit of news on the work front.. looking forward to hearing the end result.

70 is cool for you. It is 54 here this morning. It is supposed to warm up to almost 80 though. We are still be blessed with some summerlike weather. It won't be longer though and 54 will be our high and not the low for the day. Glad you are keeping busy and enjoying fall. 'On Ya' - ma

I love your schedule. I get a week off every other week but I have to work 6 12 hour shifts to get it. Love it though. Sounds like your keeping busy and having fun.

Ha Ha. Don't take on an apologetic stammer with that statement. Most people are not just super lucky to have a BEST anything, they have worked it that way over time. Done other things, often not known, that leave them more than deserving of the good things they have.

Tonight the husband came home to find the daughters and me in our bed. We were watching Sex in the City movie and shewed him out, poor guy LOL. He has bailed to the dining room. The girls have left for the evening, so now its me and mutt. Going to get a lil studying time in. It sounds like you are having fun and keeping busy, very good mix. God Bless.
