Good morning Campers!!
Been doing a bit of decorating in here this morning..like the new Autumn colours??? When is the first day of fall anyway? And when do we put the clocks back??..(mental note to self to look both of those up)
So want to know what I am excited about? Well.. do you remember me telling you how much I like the British clairvoyant/medium Lisa Williams? (she had her own show on lifetime for a brief time) well anyway she is coming to the Florida Theatre downtown and I am taking Jen with me as a birthday present for her and a treat for me!!!!!! I am so excited...I have always said if she came anywhere near here I would go.. check out the link below to find out who she is if you want...

Yesterday was a good day..me and Jen did our usual Friday girls day of running errands and grabbing a bite to eat..it was a blustery day..rained on and off but we didn't care..we always have a good laugh...spent some time looking at all the fall..Halloween and dare I say Christmas stuff they have in the craft store..bought me a couple of little projects to do...went to bed early with my book...I've been really lucky lately in my book choices and have become quite the bookworm...speaking of that I went for an eye exam on Wednesday...I found a place off base that will accept our military insurance..that was well and good..the eye exam was free but the flipping frames and lenses came out to $680!!!! I said "thanks but no thanks" I will take my prescription elsewhere...man they were some cool shades though! ;-)
So what are your plans this weekend? I am going to get some laundry done here and take it up to the Laundromat to dry.. do a bit of housework...maybe watch a bit of TV..read my book..cook something for supper..nothing really exciting....kinda keeping an eye on the weather for the latest about these darn storms..they say the one we in Florida need to worry about is Ike...got our local weathermen spooked for some reason...

the "fall back" date is November 2nd...unless they change it LOLOL, love your new "look" ~ the medium would be very interesting to go see. Glad you had a good time with your friends and sounds like you will have a nice day at home today! I have to work :( lol. Blessings* Teresa

I have watched her on TV and she is awesome....has some great hair too!! (lol) I am a HUGE John Edwards fan (NO, not the one who cheated on his sick wife....the OTHER one....lol) and I have been to see him a couple of times. He does his shows in a big theater type setting though. I totally LOVE that stuff!
This weekend is THE GYM and some Marching Band stuff at the high school and we are going out to dinner tonight in the middle of Hanna and I am going to have to watch what I eat on my KICK IT UP A NOTCH plan of action this week.
I hate being fat....(lol)

I did decorate mine yesterday but not the main page. When I left to make a comment, all I could see was green before my eyes lol. Not heard of that medium. I used to go and see a lot and I wish I could have one visit me now but that is never likely. Have a good weekend.
I don't know what I am going to do today but I have promised myself to go SOMEWHERE and do SOMETHING!

I love the color you chose with the orange I like Fall too. I too have been reading a great deal of books. I love to read books that I find interesting. I have been enjoying my time with my books that I find. I just started reading "The MacGregor Brides" by Nora Roberts.
Perhaps you could send me some of that chocolate you mentioned in one of your entries. I do like chocolate I wouldn't mind if you sent me some hint, hint, hint, hint, hint, hint, hint.

Sounds like you are having a great weekend Lyn! I love reading about all the things you get up to. You lead a very interesting and exciting life! I hope that you don't get too much nasty weather from the hurricanes, and wow, those are mighty expensive glasses. I don't blame you for going elsewhere for them! Halloween and Christmas will be here before you know it. Time seems to pass quicker and quicker these days! I have been to several clairvoyants in my lifetime. They all told me true things. KInd of interesting, kind of scary. I was told once by one that I was gifted in that way, but I have never had the desire to investigate it. Will be interesting to see how you enjoy your brush with it!

I don't remember that medium, but I have been to a few of John Edwards--it was very interesting. One of my good friends is a medium-the real deal. She is too good-disturbingly so, and I've decided not to be "read" anymore!!! I do hope you get a message from the "other side"... :) Take care - Julie
I love decorating for the seasons and am going to work at it this week. As the days start growing shorter and for us the sunshine doesn't come out as much the colorful fall decorations help to brighten things up a bit. Hope all goes well with that 'Ike' fellow. It sounds like everyone had a great weekend ... well you had a great friday, lol, I'm assuming you kept having fun. I went to the melting pot for my birthday, OMG I loved it and had so much fun ... then shopping ... I was in heaven, so much so that I didn't even notice we were in a complete down pour ... now THAT is serious shopping, lol.
BTW I went to a John Edward's reading and even though he didn't "read" us it was still a blast - I know you are going to have a great time.

Well Sept. 22 is the first day of Fall, but I have no idea when we set our clocks back this year. I think it's later than usual, isn't it? Like in November?

OMG Lyn...... you lucky lucky thing....... I watch Lisa Williams over here and i think she is amazing......... just love the things she is able to tell people. Saying that i used to like Doris Stokes..... lol... yes i know i am weird !!!
