Good morning campers!
Has anyone else ever had this happen? Every time I log on to AOL it tells me my password is invalid and I have to keep changing it..it is driving me nuts! I have tried all the things AOL tech. told me to do but as I have their free service it wasn't a whole lot...so any tips would be greatly appreciated...
Well I think I floored the Office manager with my joy over the schedule change! the look on her face was priceless and it led to her and her sidekick twittering behind closed doors for a good 20 minutes...ha you can't get rid of me that easy!!
The family are still in town...they have been shopping up a storm (the ladies) and golfing (the lads) and eating and drinking way too much (all of us)...;-)
It is chilly and raining here in the Sunshine state this morning and I am loving it..feels like it should this time of year...I have a few errands to run thismorning.. I finally got the insurance check for my fender bender..I will be out of pocket $500 but it could have been so much worse....the car goes in Tuesday for repairs and I get to drive a zippy little rental for a few days..I will be glad when my car is done I hate driving her in this state..yes my car is a her and her name is Bessie...LOL...I am hoping to share the Mexican food and margarita tradition with the family tonight....the girls have 3 kids and the youngest is only 18 months and may not stay with his grandparents..we aim to wear him out today and put him to bed early so we can all go out as this is my BIL's last night here....
I have over 300 alerts and I think I am just going to delete and start over..this whole password thing has be so frustrated...so if I haven't commented in your journal you know why....

I've had trouble with signing in and not being able to access my account but never have had to change my password like that! Sorry, I'm no help!
Hope the baby allows you to go out for mexican! I love a good margarita. And a not so good one too! LOL

I have been having the same problems with signing on to AOL and having to change my password every couple of times. I am clueless about why and haven't bothered to talk to aol about it, even though I COULD call them since I pay $9.98/month or whatever (I don't care for the "free" version). I'm glad you wrote about this, though, because I was wondering if it was just ME having the password problem. Oh, and this morning, AOL kept shutting down on me, like three times. What's up with THAT?
I'm with you on the cool weather, too. I live near St. Petersburg, a couple of miles from the Gulf. I didn't think the cooler air would EVER get here - it's LATE this year!! I'm psyched that we're out of the 90s finally and getting some much-needed rain.

Don't know if it works differantly for us in UK Lynne,but I never sign in.AOL opens automatic when I click on the icon.Do you not have a setting where it says sign me in auto,which you can tick.I am not a pooter expert, but I thought this would apply to everyone LOL!! Is it possible that someone has been changing your password without telling you? This can happen on a shared computer I think. Have a lovely weekend Lyn! Hope the sun shines on whatever you are doing!

I haven't been having any trouble with password problems at AOL. However, I am having trouble reading a few journals, including yours. The last couple of letters in each line seem to run off the page and making the page bigger doesn't seem to help. Luckily I can figure out what it says most of the time and when I'm commenting I can read it all quite well in the box above. Don't know if anyone is having that problem with me or not.
With broadband becoming so popular and a lot of people going to free AOL I wonder seriously what AOL is going to do... Eventually they won't have any subscribers at all. For the first time ever, I'm happy for the advertisers!
I am so glad that you have the office manager on her toes! Make sure you have a drink for me! I sometimes have to delete and start over. There is nothing wrong with that.

Have a great time with your family. I have had to delete numerous times. Now I keep one out of each journal then comment, it is much easier when i have so many. Yep, they don't call it AOHell for nothing, ha ha. Sorry you've been having so much trouble. You know, what is it with your office manager. Not happy with her own self needs to make other miserable as well. If you can stick to your guns, you will outlast her. Toublemakers usualy get their's in the end. Enjoy your weekend! De ;)
That has never happened to me. Although, someone did get a hold of my password and sent out over a thousand letters of spam! Sounds like the kind of weather I like over there!

I've been having trouble getting into AOL...what i did was go thru Internet explorer...don't like it much. And have't even tried to do my journal yet. I don't know what is going on.

Run a spyware check....sometimes they can mess with your AOL settings.

I got rid of the AOL program and I now log in to AOL on AIM - its much better and I still see my emails and journals. Love Laine xxxx

I havn't had that happen Lyn but sometimes I log in and my password has disappeared even though I have ticked the little box saying "Save my password" but it works when I type in my old password ~ aol can be very annoying at times :o)

I've never had AOL do that one! That's a new one in my book! I have a ton of alerts too and am afraid I'm gonna have to start over. Sorry if I haven't been by in awhile....catching up now.
