Good morning Campers!!
How are we all this fine morning? I see that AOL "found" the missing entries...well done you...NOT...;-)
We have family in town again..Lester's brother from the west coast and his sister and her partner and 3 kids from UK..the ladies are staying over at my FIL's as he has the 3 extra bedrooms and my BIL is here with us...we went out Friday night and over did it...imagine that..;-)..the boys golfed yesterday and are again this morning...this afternoon I imagine we will all get together and do something....the weather is just about perfect here at the moment..
Well I had another go around with the office bitch/manager...I knew that she would not be able to accept that she gave in and said I could keep my schedule so sure enough Friday afternoon after I had worked all last week to cover the front desk while someone was on vacation...she calls me in her office and says that the Dr's and her talked and "they" meaning her decided that I had to switch my schedule after all...I was so mad that I could feel the tears coming so I told her I would think things over and get back to her after this weekend...well I have figured out a way that all this will actually work out to my advantage!! I will switch to Mondays and Thursdays...she has already told me that if I had things already scheduled on Thursdays then that was okay they would work around me.. so I will ask her that on the weeks that I already have plans on Thursdays if I can come in on Wednesdays and make up my hours....so really I will have the same schedule and then after the new year I will switch to Thursdays...and as this will be the day I work the front desk I can leave early...I got to thinking..work Monday have 2 days off work Thursday have 3 days off ain't so bad after all..and if I am going out of town for a weekend they will "accommodate' me as I was nice enough to switch my days when asked...LOL.. she thinks she won..I KNOW I did and everyone is happy...;-)
This entry is really boring is it not?? So I will leave you with some Gratitude's in my life...

Lol i bet your like the cat that got the cream lol. I am glad its all sorted out to your advatage we cant let the b$$$h get one over on you. Thats not cricket you no. It must be in the rules of office managers to be complete and utter cows to all and every hard working employee and then turn around and accommodate every whim of the people who do NOTHING but whinge and take sick days etc. I swear it is a world wide phenomenon!!!...lol..... especially in the medical field!!!!...lol Anyway, glad that the forced change of schedule will be of benefit to you. You're right - working one day at a time is enough and then getting 2 days off is the way to go!
Enjoy the family and hope you get to gloat a little to the office manager about how much the new schedule fits in so well for you!!!!

us working girls have alot to say about work strife, huh? Glad you will eventually one up the witch at work......i am tickled Ohio has warm weather still! Many yrs it would have been snowing by now. So glad family is there and you are enjoying them and that you got to to go out and enjoy them.

I'm so glad things worked out for you at the office. Nothing worse than working with a 'bitch' who is deceitful at best. Damn - don't you with we'd all been born rich instead of beautiful? Then we wouldn't have to deal with any of this and could tell them to 'take this job and shove it!'
