Tuesdays with Lyn

Good morning campers!

I am so thankful not to be going to work this morning. It is nice to have my day to myself after the hustle and bustle of the long weekend.

Yesterday was a great day. We went to the outlet malls first. Hubby scored a new pair of shoes..Ryan couldn't find shoes but scored a pair of polo jeans and polo shirt...I got a new bag..perfume and body lotion..Ginger by Origins..whenever I wear this people follow me and ask me what I am wearing...LOL...we even got Rachel two tops...couldn't leave her out even if she couldn't come with us...then we drove into St. Augustine..had a wander around and then lunch at Harry's Seafood...we were so stuffed after that we could barely walk back to the car....you know that feeling right?? you wait to long to eat so you are starving so you order everything on the menu and eat 2 loaves of bread while you're waiting for your food then wonder why you can't breath...LOL.. we did not even eat supper last night...it was a such a good day...we had a fit of the giggles in the restaurant because the lady at the table opposite had had a couple of hurricanes (potent cocktail) and was talking really loud about everyone under the sun...my son says to me "why do women always talk crap about their friends? I bet she is all nice to their faces" good point my son....well anyway we said we hope they bring her food soon so she'll shut up..and sure enough the food came and their was this big sigh of relief around the room because she was finally quiet.... ;-)

Not much else to talk about this morning so I shall leave you with my five....

1. holiday weekends that go on till Tuesday... ;-)

2.. quality family time....

3... hubby finally got the lawn mowed..we have had a lot of rain and it needed cutting bad...

4....sun is out...I may have to sneak an hour by the pool later...

5.....all of you reading this....

Good Morning Lyn Ü

Mark and I had a wonderful weekend together. Mainly sleeping in late, working in the yard, and just being with each other. Our daughter Brittany came by and stayed a while yesterday. Sadly our son didn't feel the effort was worth bring my grand babies too see me during the 3 days he was off. That was the only downside to the weekend.

Oh how I want to visit St. Augustine again. My gosh it's seems like forever since we have been there. And you ate at one of our favorite restaurants...Harry's Seafood! I know you guys enjoyed yourselves Ü. Well except for the intoxicated lady near y'all lol. Thank God the food did the trick and she left everyone alone.
Well enjoy your day off and pamper yourself ok Ü.

HUGS,
Donna

Shpping, one of my favourite things to do!  You're lucky your husband likes to go with you.  Todd goes, but then he bitches the whole time about the money I spend, so I guess I'd rather he stay home!  About the Name Tag, I think I was supposed to use people who's name started with the same letters as mine but I couldn't think of people who had all the same letters.  Mind you there is an L in Alice and yours starts with L, so I did ok there!

you got hubby to >gasp< an outlet mall with you?  I almost made a trip this weekend.  We have a great VF outlet and I am desperately in need of a pair of Lee jeans.  They're the only ones that I can find to fit me, but I guess I didn't want them badly enough to make the 2 hour drive *sigh*.  Enjoy your day off!

I do not understand why we women are not nicer to our friends.  But we almost all do it from time to time!  Ryan is very astute!

Hi new friend.  ::G::
I LOVE trying new scents so I am going to find the one you mentioned and see how it smells on me.  Is there a whole layering thing ... shower gel, lotion and scent?  Aren't the outlets the best!?  I always try to do Christmas shopping there and some how leave with 25 things for me and not one thing on my list, lol.

Wow.  I think I'm gonna be the 37th or so comment - something like that.  That is a lot!!!
Sounded like a good shopping adventure and St. Augustine - wonderful.  I love it.  We do the Columbia (Cuban) restaurant....I love the charm of the old St. Augustine area.
Have a good Sunday.
