Good Morning Campers!
Wow..you go away for one day you come back and everything has changed..the layout..the pics..the way you do pics..blah blah blah..what about freedom of choice? I don't mind choices people but not changes...grrr!!!
So just in case anyone didn't get it..<big grin> the last entry was a joke... I have no idea who the people in those pics were..it was sent to me a long time ago under the heading "Redneck Wedding" and I just couldn't resist...you should know me by now... ;-)
So we had the staff meeting..same crap different meeting.. I gave everyone their TB tests and came home.. yesterday I worked... it was an okay day..nothing out of the ordinary..40 patients...today I am going to the base to pick up tickets for Busch gardens..True beauty is taking her brother to Tampa tomorrow..they are staying overnight in a hotel...they are taking her best friend with them too..I don't do roller coasters anymore so I happy they are going...and that they get along so well...they're taking my car because true beauty doesn't want to take hers..mine will not attract attention as much as hers..hers is "tricked out" with the rims and tinted windows and speakers etc..so I get to drive her car for 2 days...oh joy...LOL..the cool mama in the hot car...NOT...
Hubby has taken a couple of days leave to get some work done in the yard..he has been playing football (soccer) the past 2 weeks..and is currently in bed unable to get his legs to work...I am trying very hard not to laugh..he looked like a cripple hobbling to the loo in the middle of the night...it sure does suck to get old and have to get up to pee and not have your legs work...but he scored a couple of goals and he is in footy heaven..if they could only see him today..ha!
Well people I need to get in the shower and get going here..have been to the gym already...I have been 3 days this week already...it does get easier and I feel so much better.. I can feel it in my clothes too...the actual numbers are not falling as fast any more but they are still falling..slowly but surely...

Good for you for getting in shape! Poor hubby! And poor you for having to drive True Beauty's car! LOL There is a girl in our neighborhood who drives a car like that. It has the loudest pipes on it! You can tell what time she has to be at school and what time she gets done!

I hope your Hubby is getting around a little better. Nothing worse than having to limp or crawl to the loo. Been there, done that, under different circumstances though (usually alcohol related, back in the day) LOL! Have a great day!

What is up with our husbands? I am guessing they are about the same age. My hubby retired two years ago and you would think he would have learned by now that the Marine Corp had distroyed his body.... oh no! LOL oh well we have to love them anyway. I must say that I do get a good laugh and remind him that he is NOT that young any more!

I do miss Busch Gardens now that we've moved. It was by far better than what's here in San Antonio. (Sea World and Six Flags)
My body decided I was 'old' at 36. Can you imagine me at 60? Yikes.

I know, I am with you about the changes. I guess it really is hard to teach an old dog new tricks! I'll probably just be getting used to these changes and they'll spring a whole nother bunch of new changes on us! Poor hubbie. I bet he's making twice as much noise about it as you would if the shoe were on the other foot! In any case, hope he's over his aches and pains real soon!

Hope your kids have a great time at Busch Gardens, I really liked it there and ended up going twice and still not seeing it all. My favourite place in there was the bird enclosure where all the little birds came and sipped their nectar from little cups we held. Hope you enjoy posing about it her car! Hugs, Terry x
Hi Lyn, I hope your kids have a great time at Busch. We`ve been there a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed it, apart from the time a huge seagull swooped and stole my giant pretzel...lol! I wish AOL hadn`t changed the photo format or at least give us several choices of how we want to show our pics...I`m not a happy bunny I can tell you! :o)

It's been absolute ages since I went to Busch Gardens. More like over 25 years , wow! No.....I'm not old (laughing silly here). I can see you now, driving around in the tricked out car LOL! All these changes everyone is talking about, and I have no idea what they are! I haven't written in my journal for several days. I guess I'll find out soon enough.

I sure would like to have my hubby get a few days off to put our garage back together. So glad your man is getting some time in the yard. We got the garage all painted, but the shelves aren't finished, so guess where everything remains? Yep, outside! ARgh!!
