Thursday Morning

Pinch punch first day of the month...No returns... ;-)

Thursday already. Time flies when you're having fun huh? Thanks for your kind comments and encouragement. I chose not to leave the haters in the comment section just because I don't do drama. There is enough of it in the real world. I refuse to surround myself with negativity. It spreads like a virus. It gets worse and worse and before you know it you are feeding off that energy. Same goes for positivity.. I prefer to spread that around. :-)

It's been a good week at work. We have a part time MA who I do not think will make the cut. Then we have a student who is doing her externship with us. Part of the MA course requires 120 hours in a clinic or Dr's office of some kind..where you get evaluated on the clinical side of the MA program. I was lucky when I did mine because I got hired the 3rd day. I think this student would be an asset to our office. She is young and enthusiastic and is up to date on the latest stuff. She "gels" well with the staff and is confident. I think we will be offering her a job when she is done externing. The part timer might be offered a job helping out in reception...I would not lose any sleep if they let her go..she does not impress me at all..she has been with us  since the beginning of year and has called in sick at least 3 times....The new office manager is taking charge..she seems to like me and confides in me..maybe because I am closer to her age...I was the oldest till she got there...I don't mind passing that hat on believe me...

Hubby and kids are great.. hubby is still sucking up to me..I kinda like that...we have had a few laughs about it all trust me... ;-)

Other than that not a whole lot going on..it's been pretty darn chilly here but today promises to be warmer only to have it chill off again by the weekend..we have been invited to a Superbowl party.. I really don't have a fav. but I guess I better chose sides because there will be a little wagering going on I am sure and it is always fun to root for someone...maybe I will be a total girl and chose by the colour so I can match my outfit...

I do believe it's about time for me to list my five so with that I shall sign off..stay warm...
