Good Morning Campers.
Long time no post. Things are crazy at work and only getting crazier. I am working today and tomorrow. The extern did not show up yesterday. The new girl has asked for a day off next week. Do these girls want a job or not? We have 17 new patients today..12 of those are back to back..each of these patients we have to take a complete history on..which can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 20 minutes..then everything has to be charted in the computer... it is going to be an insane day. Good job I'm halfway there anyway right?? ;-)
Yesterday I spent the day with Jen running errands with her...we did get to have lunch together so that was nice. We don't get to see much of each other now she is working full time.
Nothing much going on on the home front. Hubby and kids are fine. We do have a Chili cook off for the Chiefs at the big boss's house Friday night. You know how much I hate doing the Navy Wife thing but I think this will be pretty low key so it shouldn't be too bad.
Hope everyone is surviving the cold..I was going to tell you it's cold here but at the risk of being bombarded with snowballs I shan't bother... ;-)

you know it always amazes me too that you get these workers in and they never get fired!!!!!!! they just dont work and they just refuse to do thier part and they dont get fired. !!!!!!!!!
about the chilie cook off. do you have to make chilie. a friend of mine has a great recipe its hotter than a firecrakcer and I often call it $50 chilie becuase it costs m e that much to make it . BUT its ahuge pot!!!!!!! I have never seen a recipe this diverse and yummy yummo!!!!!!!! if you want it there is a jouranl she has it posted in with some pcis . I ll send it toyou
I'd throw a snow ball at ya, IF WE HAD SNOW TO THROW!!!! Its freezing here but no snow on the ground !

Thank you for your book list i will look out for them. I hope your weather warms up soon. Some were in the Uk are going to get a blob of snow, so far forcasters are saying London and surrounding areas. We wait with bated breath.

Hiya! Good luck with work this week! I hate new patients back to back too! There's so much info to try and get and 12!!! My God!!! What Einstein booked them in together??? I know what you mean about the 'Navy Wife' thing too. I hate it when I have to attend 'official' functions with hubby. I always get nervous and uncomfortable! Lucky they don't happen too often!

I'm always interested in what others are reading. I'm reading stuff by Rita Mae Brown. She writes a lot of foxhunting/mysteries (American Foxhunting). Riding Shotgun is my favorite so far. I couldn't put it down which is hard when you have a 3 and 6 year old in the house! The other trilogy I found is actually a Young Adult fiction called A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. Excellent!

Happy Wednesday! Hope work settles down for you so it's not quite so crazy. Sounds like you are swamped and busy there. I imagine it makes the days go by fast though. We're getting snow tomorrow!!! Lots of it, according to the BBC. Stay tuned! At least your days at work will go quickly. I guess that could be a bright spot. I would love to participate in a chilli cookoff. Does your chilli have beans in it? I know some purists don't put them in. How about posting your recipe in your journal?

Aw, thanks for recommending books that you like. i love historical romances, but i dont often get to read them. mostly just books for school.

Glad to hear that things are quiet on the home front :). Hope that you get some more help at the office. Sometimes people don't understand how hard "good" jobs are to come by.
And I'm sorry that I lost you at "Office" on my last entry (LMBO)!I tend to really get into the tech talk a little to seriously sometimes, but it really is a great program for everyone...especially OneNote.

I'm in a new training class, we started out with 21 people. We haven't completed our first week yet and we are already down to 19 as they wanted time off during training! Glad things are good and quiet on the home front.
