Good Evening Campers!!
I am so happy to report that the sun was shining today and the temperatures hit the high 50's!! It felt so good to putter around in the yard a little bit and sit on the deck and feel the sun on my face...I sat out there for a good hour and felt really warm for the first time in ages...one of my simple pleasures reading my book outside...even the "kids" were out there throwing the football around..gotta love it..we are in for some rain this weekend but that's okay we need it...I was looking around out there today and there is an awful lot of work to be done but I am ready...I like nothing more than working out in the yard and then rewarding myself with a cold beer and a dip in the pool..I realize that's a long way off but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel..
So yesterday was weird...I kept having someone ring the doorbell and run away...I didn't think kids did that anymore....my driveway is pretty long and whoever it was could run pretty quick to not be seen on on my street..I put a pic up above so you can see how long my driveway is and where my front door is...oh well kids will be kids..nothing today so guess they had their fun and moved on...LOL...
I have a busy day tomorrow..going to run errands and hang out with Jen...her hubby is taking their only car out of state for the day so I said I would pick her up and we will go run and do whatever needs doing...of course we will have lunch somewhere and a bit of shopping no doubt....
Who is watching American Idol? I was flicking back and forth last night..I gotta admit the auditions make me cringe!
I made spaghetti and meatballs for supper...just FYI..LOL

I can't stand American Idol. The only reason I even watched it was for Simon. Now that he's moving on, forget it !
At least those kids didn't leave dogshit on your doorstep.
Oh to hit the 50s..that would be so nice..lol.
I never got into Idol..I don't care too much for Simon.

I must do all my running in the next few days because we are suppose to be getting record breaking rainfall. I have been getting out a little more, and like you I am just enjoying the sun.

haha, you make me laugh Lyn. I dont' really start watching Idol until they get down to the finalists competing. I find the rest quite boring. I hear Simon Cowel is bring the X Factor to America. You'll enjoy that!

Sitting in the sun and being warm does sound wonderful. We actually got up to 40 and the sun did shine, but I wouldn't have sat out like you did. Hope your Friday is a good one!
I'm glad your FIL is doing better and I hope that ulcer heals soon. Glad there wasn't much of a hole in your pipe to the sprinkler. We always try to be careful about every year too, but you just never know. I am loving our 50° weather here. Of course, now there's a chance of rain tomorrow, but it's better than that bitter cold.
