Good Morning Campers!!!
47 years old...yep had me a birthday yesterday..I need to thank a lot of you for the birthday wishes on FaceBook..that was fun!! I had a fabulous birthday thanks to my lovely family...True Beauty got me a new hair dryer and a gift card to Booksamillion..Ryan got me a beautiful plant...and hubster got me a cool lime green Flip video camera and a gorgeous bean bag lounger for out by the pool!! and I got taken to Carraberras my favourite Italian restaurant for dinner and then we rounded out the evening by all watching a movie together.."Lakeview Terrace"...what a great day...and the best part was the four of us together...we are making plans for a summer vacation to the Keys too!!
How sad to hear about the tragic death of Natasha Richardson..she was a great actress...I am sure her husband Liam Neesom and children are in shock...just goes to show you just never know....
My FIL has been in hospital again since Saturday...he has Pneumonia and has been having trouble breathing...hopefully he will be home tomorrow...he now has to have all his liquids thickened to the consistency of honey due to liquids making their way into his lungs...he is not a happy camper at the moment ..bless him...
My sister and brother and their partners and a whole bunch of friends are away on holiday in Tunisia..lucky sods! but I did get to talk with my Dad yesterday..all is well with him.. he sounds great..talking to him on the phone is exhausting though because I have to shout or repeat everything a few times...he is as deaf as a post...LOL...unless of course you happen to be talking about him then he can hear clear as a bell...;-)
In honour of my 47th birthday I am going to bore you with 47 things about me...this is random and off the top of my head but never the less here we go....
1. My family adores me...
2. I adore them..
3. I miss everyone back in UK..
4. I am happy...
5. I know how lucky I am
6. I am not as naive as some of you reading this might think and just because I have let things go does not mean I haven't made mental notes..you know who you are and what you did was wrong and you have to live with that each and every day...shame on you..
7. I believe in karma...
8. This is fun...;-)
9. my yard is coming in green...
10 my hubby obsesses over it...
11. that makes me giggle...
12. he actually watches the grass grow...
13. I watch right along side him...
14. I did 6 loads of laundry yesterday.

16. I have no problems with that
17. no one does it as well as me
18. Kate on Jon and Kate is starting to annoy me
19. I think the fame has gone to her head
20. she belittles Jon

32. I forgot to mention my MIL bought me a planter for the deck..that was nice of her..
33. Hubby is still in bed..

35. I love my new high lights...blonde and sassy...
36. I don't think I look 47 but sometimes I feel it!

38. My son hugged and kissed me for my birthday...
39. my daughter kissed me...
40. she is not much of a touchy feely gal...LOL
41. Hubby made me a video on my new camera that I got to watch when I switched it on..how flipping romantic is that??...
42. I don't write on here as much as I should...
43. I am too busy reading about everyone elses lives...
44. I am nosy..reading blogs is great for that...LOL..it's like inviting me to snoop...;-)
