2008 in review...

Below is the year in review from my blog..the first sentence or paragraph of each month for 2008...

How is everyone doing this weekend? Mine has been great so far..the usual Mexican Friday night

Well I did it! Booked a ticket to go surprise my dad for his 75th birthday! This is a very big deal to me

May...
The eagle has landed!!!..I am back home safe and sound after a whirlwind of partying..sightseeing..visiting with family etc etc...

June...
Wow it has been a while aye? I see they have added more mood selections..when did they add those??

July...
My father in laws wife does have breast cancer and will be having surgery this week...and she is definitely going to be having radiation and/or chemo...


August....
I am back from my trip to Orlando I'm exhausted and seem to have picked up some upper respiratory crap as my voice is hoarse..my throat hurts and my chest feels tight...

September...
How is everyone? I just spent a pleasant few minutes browsing through J Land ..checking out a few new journals..catching up on some others...got me to thinking about how much I used to write and how much I enjoyed it...I realize I miss it... So I decided to just sit here and write...


October...
I am slowly but surely getting used to my new address...as you already know I do not like change but as they say a change is as good as a rest so we shall see! I am happy with the response to my new Blog

Yesterday was our Christmas lunch at work. We finally decided to close the office for a couple of hours and do a lunch instead of an evening party as we could not find a date that would work for all of us...all they would tell us about the lunch was to be there at 11.30...we had no idea..those who were working in the clinic were told not to wear scrubs...so anyway we all met in the clinic yesterday and were told to go to the front of the building...what was waiting for us?? A stretch Limo!!
