A Band or Artist that has got you through some bad times...
Definitely Rod Stewart...in my young teenage years I would listen to his Atlantic Crossing Album over and over again.."You're in my Heart" "First cut is the deepest" "Tonight's the night"...even to this day if I hear those songs I can remember the feelings I had back then for my hubby..yep he was my first love and the cause of many a tear back then!! LOL..and the song "Sailing" can still make me cry because it reminds me of my leaving my family all those years ago crying at the airport as their 21 year old daughter left it all be hind to follow her heart...

Rod Stewart was my first REAL concert..and I've gone back for many more:)
I can't even imagine leaving all of your family (except new hubby) behind.
Rod Steward is one of my favorites too! Some songs just stay with us forever as they have so much meaning.
I agree with you. He's a great singer. I was excited to see Rod in concert a few years back. He's in my heart and soul too. Such good lyrics. Unfortunately for me, my hubby is a classical music lover and doesn't feel the same way.
Have always adored Rod as well Lyn. Have you listened to his new American Song Book Albums? I got the lot for Christmas and they are fast favourites! xxoo
