Good Morning Campers!!
Hope everyone is doing okay....things are going well here...I have been reading but not writing so thought I would remedy that this morning...;-)
It's a busy time of year here...Ryan is graduating next month....fingers crossed...we all know how much he loves school ..NOT...and now there is a girlfriend in the mix....see pic above... ~sigh~ she is a smashing girl and I have known her for years...her and Ryan have been "just" friends until a couple of weeks ago....
True Beauty got bit in the lip by her boxer..completely her fault..she plays this little game where she blows in his face and he "snaps"..she usually backs away but I guess this time she wasn't quick enough..no one told me till a day later..she hid it when she came in the first night and then was out all day yesterday..she knew I would be pissed and I am...I just hope it doesn't scar...what a stupid thing to do huh?? both of them have their shots up to date...;-)
There was terrible boat accident here Easter weekend ...5 people killed and 9 more hospitalized...the boat ran into Tug Boat that was building a dock....there was alcohol involved and too many people on the boat... but it's still such a tragedy...I knew one of the women..she was a trainer at the YMCA I used to go to....such a waste of so many young lives...
Still no orders for hubby yet....I just wanna know ...but I have to admit it's been fun spending time with him and the yard and house are looking great!! I am going to lunch with Jen today..we have not seen each other since our falling out....while I will never understand what she did I miss our friendship and am ready to risk getting hurt again in order to see if we can regain what we had...everyone deserves a second chance right??
We are going to our friends beach house tomorrow for the the day..we will spend the night and come back Sunday in time for hubby's tee off~~ ;-) I can't wait to sit on the beach .. it is my all time fav. place to be....
My father in law is home and doing much better....they don't think he is aspirating his food anymore so he is able to drink liquids again but he now has to eat very small meals 6 times a day....so far so good...
Well that's about all from me...I have been reading a lot and puttering around the house...I do not miss the negativity or the drama in the office but I am getting a little stir crazy....I will definitely need to find a little part time job when the summer is over that's for sure....I am blessed to have the option to stay home...I know many do not...

Is that picture actually your son and his girfriend? SO CUTE!! Sounds like you are just living the most wonderful life right now...kids are good (hope the lip heals quickly!! My sister plays the same game with her dog! lol) you are hanging with hubby and friends and there is alot of pool and beach and SUNSHINE involved and that is always the BEST!!! You are enjoying your new found freedom and I am relishing the last of mine..,.I am scheduled to start working on May 4th!!

I love that picture! So 1940's! My girls have been bitten recently by our dog. Totally provoked by them. They have learned their lessons and are much more careful with him! Play with snakes and you will get bit! LOL Hope it goes well with your friend and you. I try to forgive but it can be super hard!

That picture is great! I'm glad you like his girlfriend. I hope when my son gets a girl that I like her. Also, hope True Beauty's lip heals well. OUCH!!
Have fun at the beach!!! Bring a book and enjoy the sun and waves! What better therapy is there than that??
That's a shame about the boating accident. Drinking and driving-anything do not mix.

Your son and his girlfriend are to cute. Oh I am glad that both of them are up on the shots. If she stays out of the sun it should not scar to bad.....lets hope.

A day at the beach sounds so nice... hope you had a wonderful time! I sure do miss Florida beach visits. We are getting ready to put our little pool up in the back yard but of course it is no comparison to the ocean. So sorry to hear about your daughter's lip. Hope it heals and leaves no scar! I know you must be getting excited about son's graduation! Oh that is so sweet he has a nice girlfriend! Glad you are going to lunch with your friend and hope that all gets patched up nicely.
