Thursday Morning...

Good Morning campers!!

It is a very cold morning here.. temps have dipped in the 20's overnight..we are breaking all records for this time of year... I am loving it..we don't get cold weather here very often and it's nice to dig out the boots and sweaters and scarves...not to mention how cozy the fireplace was last night...

I am touched by all the prayers and comments of support regarding hubby's dad...he is doing a little better after receiving IV diuretics..he is also on steroids which make him feel great... his oxygen level is till a concern and they are worried about his kidney function but he is much better and I have hope once again that he will still be here when hubby makes it home...

It has been a week for bad news health wise..my co worker lost her granny in the Philippines..she fell and hit her head and was declared brain dead...my friend Jens Mum is having her big toe and part of her foot amputated today due to gangrene..and another co workers grandma was diagnosed with ovarian cancer... all so sad this time of year...

I have been pretty busy I am working an extra shift today to cover for someone..I worked Monday and Tuesday and yesterday was spent doing housework..running errands and going up the hospital to visit FIL...

Hope everyone is staying warm...gas is down to $1.90 here by the way... ;-)

Catch up with you when I can...

L xx

That is terrible with all that stuff going on. Try to take it as easy as you can and take time for yourself as much as you can.

I saw gas here for 1.76. Of course I didn't need any so it'll probably cost more when I do get it. Life does seem so hard sometimes and we just never know when something can happen. That is why I celebrate each day as a very special day. Today I'm just fine and so are my loved ones and I'm so thankful. I'll keep your friends and their families in my prayers. 'On Ya'-ma

Hey Girl! I'm doing a Blog Jog myself. I'm so sorry to hear about your FIL. Hmmm? Kidney failure may be a big part of the problem. You have doc's to talk to. But, if you need an insider -let me know. Most doc's don't know what us dialysis nurses do. Esp. diet & fluid intake. Give me a shout at my AOL addy if you have Ques.

Sorry to hear about your Father in Law Lyn! Saying some prayers for him now. I'm afraid we are at am age now where we are going to be experiencing this more and more as our parent's and other older relatives and friends head towards the end of their lives. It's sad but all a part of the process we call life I guess. (((hugs))) Glad you got the card ok, and that you like them! Woo Hoo!!

Hi Lyn, I'm so glad that I finally found your blog. And I found you on FB. I've kinda been MIA recently, just wanting to focus on visa things and work. I'm so fussy about weather, I dont like it to be too cold (England) or too hot (Florida) so I guess I'm stuck! But I'm glad its somewhat chilly, hopeful when Adam gets his visa and he won't be too shocked by British weather.

I'm sorry to hear about your FIL and your friends who are facing such heartache. Best wishes to you all xx

Wow you've got a lot going on! Will keep them all in my prayers.
I paid 1.87/gal for gas the other day. I couldn't believe it! They can keep on coming down and I'll be happy.
Have a good day.
