Good Morning Campers!!
Hope everyone is warm and cozy this morning and getting ready for a fun day of food..family...more food...zoning out in front of the telly and then ..yep more food!! I am pretty tickled this morning to be sitting in front of my own computer..it was indeed the fan but not the fan that you can just dust off the main fan had over heated..but I have a good relationship with the computer shop guys and they knew I was wanting to skype with hubby today so they put the new fan in for me for just the cost of the fan..no labor...very sweet of them!!
Today will be a very quiet Thanksgiving..the in-laws are not up to coming over here..FIL is home but still a bit weak ..True Beauty (my daughter) has to work..double time and a half so she's not really complaining...so it will be just me and Ryan..actually I am looking forward to it...we will be having a huge Christmas dinner with the whole family in a few weeks so it fine with me to have a quiet day at home today..I am cooking a small Turkey and a small ham and the usual side dishes..Ryan requested my homemade Macaroni and Cheese...I have a good book I'm reading and there are always some good chick flicks on today so all in all it is going to be a great day albeit quiet.
Thought I would take a minute to list a few things I am thankful for this morning....
1. My family...
2.. My health...
3... My hubby who will be home in 11 days and a wake up!!!!
4.... Computer back up and running..it truly is my lifeline....
5..... Great books and my love of reading....
6...... That the Christmas gifts for my family are already on their way to England!!
7.......My cozy great smelling house....
8........ SHOPPING..yes I will be leaving at 4.am tomorrow morning...;-)
9.........My girlfriends..
10.........My online family...;-)
11...........My little Yorkie Cadet.. for snuggling up with me on the cold evenings...he might be replaced pretty soon when the big guy gets back...;-)
12............ Christmas cards are bought..love buying cards..
13............. Christmas stamps..so pretty...
14.............. All of you reading this!!
I am obviously behind on reading but I will get around to you all sooner or later...I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving...may your heart remember the warmth you feel today always...

Lyn, So glad you were able to get the computer back up and running! I am making a small fare dinner too, minus the ham and mac-n-cheese. I don't think I've ever tried to make the latter, lol. They call me Mrs. Swanson in the family! God Bless and Happy T-Day!

One thing I really miss about living in Nashville was missing the family melee. Thanksgiving and Christmas were so quiet and... sacred when I didn't have to be anywhere to act a certain way around people I'm not crazy about.

Hi Lyn, *hugs* Im so glad your computer is back up and running. That was great of them to just charge for the the fan and not the labor too awesome :) I know the comp is ur lifeline its mainly about every1s, lol. We all need our computers working good ;) It sounds like your going to be have a nice, intimate Thanksgiving. The food sounds good too, yum. What a bummed ur daughter not being there but the extra money she will make will be nice too, lol. Reading books and watching chick flicks sounds good to me. Can i come by haa, lol. Have fun hun. Love the thankful list you have. The other day I was talking to a few people and it seems all they could focus on was the gloom and doom. We have much to be thankful for and many times we forget to look at the little stuff.
