Good Morning Campers!!
Why am I up at this godforsaken hour on a Saturday morning? Doing a 5k breast cancer walk that's what! Yep hubby's squadron has a team in honor of one of the wives who is undergoing radiation right now for Breast Cancer....as many of you know cancer has been a huge part of my life..so many family members and dear friends have had to deal with cancers wrath..including my own darling hubby..the least I can do is get my arse out of bed early on a Saturday morning and show some love and support....
Other than that I don't have a whole lot of plans ... I have been "nesting"..cleaning..organizing..re-arranging things...I always do that this time of year...I have spent an incredible amount of time online too..trying to get used to this new format...the jury is out as to which I prefer but I will say I miss the ease and comfort of AoHell...;-) Not to mention I have a my space and a face book page to keep track of...I have got in touch with a few Friends from school back in UK..seems face book is more popular over there.... so I have been keeping busy...only 2 more months left on this deployment..this will be the longest we have gone without seeing each other in our 25 years of marriage...almost 7 months...
That's all from me this morning.... I am off to get a hot shower and get fired up for this walk....

Facebook is getting extremely popular. I haven't even attempted it. As far as blogger, really it has a lot of options but I'd still give it all up for the ease and comfort of AOL, if I could. The alerts made it far easier than using the dashboard. And comments...I still don't know of any way besides accessing the blog. Good luck with your 5k! HUGS

By the time you read this your walk will be done hope you are not too tired. 7 month that's long time will hubby be home for Christmas. LOve JOan.

I think I like Blogger better, just so many more options for us .

Morning Lyn, NOt sure if we have ever talked but hello from small town Central Alberta, Canada.
I appreciate the walk you are undertaking as I too am a cancer survivor....Still hard to say that.
Finished up with three years of agressive treatment in chemotherapy, radiation and then a new trial drug called "Herceptin"
Would hope to read more of these blogs as I am just trying to figure out. I had finally done it better on AOL and now they close down.

I've never been to facebook, just Myspace.
The shutdown is forcing some of us to learn what the he%* we're doing, so it may be a good thing in the long run. They've got some pretty cool stuff here.
