Good Morning Campers!
Yes..it's Monday morning again...<groan> why do they always sneak up so quickly??
Finished another book this weekend...
"Stone Creek" by Victoria Lustbaden
Been a while since a book made me cry..this was a love story..no a sappy romance a real love story...beautifully written...highly recommend this one... ;-)
My co workers mum passed peacefully Thursday evening.. just a week after they gave her 3 weeks to live....I am glad that my co worker was able to be home with her....
My sisters in law arrived safe and sound with their kids...we are off to Orlando later in the week...we are staying at the celebrity resort in Buena vista...looks pretty nice online...they are there a week ..I will be with them for 3 or 4 days..we have booked the all day package for the Dolphin swim which includes continental breakfast..cabana rental...towels...all drinks and snacks included..the Dolphin swim..DVD of the event...and dinner at the end of the day plus a pass to the park of your choice...not bad huh? We are also scheduled to have dinner with the Princesses at Disney...my 4 year old niece is all about the princesses..while it is not my usual type of vacation I am going to enjoy it none the less and once the kids are settled for the night I am sure us big girls will have some fun of our own...;-)
I still have not seen Mama Mia..my daughter refuses to go with me even though I promised not to sing in the aisles..LOL..I guess I will drag Jen to see it with me..I am a huge Abba fan...know all the words...I was once the dancing queen myself... I think Gaz holds the title now...;-)
Hubby is doing well...he is currently in Italy..he has been traveling a lot..so far he has been to the Philippines..Malaysia..and of course Italy ..Australia is on the books too..must be nice huh? can you believe we are already 2 months into this? although at first it was dragging it seems to be flying by now...
I am working today and tomorrow and then am off until the 8th August...before you know it it will be back to school..Ryan goes back the 18th..his senior year..<yikes>
Hope everyone had a great weekend.. I haven't been online much.... going to try and visit a few journals right now...

Your little trip away sounds fabulous - please take photos! Any sun and water pictures I can get are very much appreciated at the moment since it was 0 celcius this morning when I left for work!!!

I didn't know your hubby was traveling around so much, I know you will be glad when he is back home. My son in the military travels alot and it is rough on his family life for sure. I saw him and his 2 children for the first time in 2 years at our family reunion the week of the 4th of July. I'm glad you'll be getting vacation and have some family in. I've been reading alot also, but then I always do that lol ~ lately though it's been nothing but "brain candy" if you know what I mean... and yes, Gaz IS the reigning dancing queen LOLOL... though he's feeling poorly :( I've been sending lots of positive thoughts his way and blessings too...
I'm sorry about your co worker's mom :( I never know what to say when things like that happen, but I do know what I feel in my heart.
You have fun with the Dolphins and I want to see Mama Mia ! LOL.

I am also reading a great, great book called (of all things) "Whacked" by Jules Asner. It's fantstic!!!! I highly recomend it. Even though it is a new book, I didn't have to wait too long at the library to get it. Any more that's where I get all my books, especially and even the new ones! They added a great new feature that you can download MANY books to my new MP3 player (Sansa) so I can lay in bed and listed or listen on my breaks.

I haven't had a chance to see Mama Mia either and I REALLY want to see it. My daughter has said she'd go with me but, IF I dare start singing she'd move and not sit with me. I'm sure she will be moving if she even sits next to me when we first get there. HOW can you NOT sing to the ABBA songs?

I haven't heard anything about Mama Mia other than it is in Vegas and was maybe a movie? I'm not sure on that. I was a huge Abba fan back in the day. If it's as fun a musical as Rocky Horror Picture Show was I'd go see it. THe Disney vacation sounds fun as I do have a four year old who would be all about eating with the Princess since she thinks and is treated like one herself. That trip sounds like a lifetime of memories.
I'm glad to read that even though the lady passed away, it was peaceful and hopefully painlessly but I'm so sorry for the sorrow the lady is feeling at the passing of her Mom. Awful.
You've been quiet online because you've been reading so much. I miss the opportunity. ALOT. I used to consume books.
