Good Morning campers!!
How is everyone? Alerts must be down as I have more messages announcing alerts are down that actual alerts in my mailbox...;-)
I am back from my trip to Orlando I'm exhausted and seem to have picked up some upper respiratory crap as my voice is hoarse..my throat hurts and my chest feels tight...not surprising really seeing as I was in close contact with thousands of people in the themes parks for 3 days... ;-)
recap of my trip..
Arrived Thursday morning..went straight to magic kingdom...did all the rides except space mountain..actually did splash mountain twice...came home and collapsed...Friday morning we did a run to Walmart and stocked up...the mum and pop joints close to the resort were charging $7 for a gallon of milk.. come to find out there was a Walmart less than a mile down the road...they need to let their guests know that!!!! We chilled by the pool and then went to Pleasure Island at night...Saturday we did Sea World..that was a lot of fun..the shows were amazing...we hung out in the hot tub at night and had a few beers...Sunday was the big day..swimming with Dolphins at Discovery cove..an experience of a lifetime and something I highly recommend... I need to scan the pics in...I was worn out Sunday night so it was early to bed...I left yesterday morning and made it home in about 2 1/2 hours...the house was fine..just tons of laundry to be done...LOL..
Obviously this is just a quick recap and I will write more later..hope everyone is doing okay...I don't even know if anyone will read this if alerts are down... :-(

Alerts were down from Friday night all over the weekend!!!! However, they came back last night and you should have received one from me as I posted late last night. Can you tell me if you did get one, if not I will complain again.

The WM SC in Orlando is INSANE!! OMG, when we went in '05, i was in line for TWO hours and people were ASLEEP in line waiting to check out. I howled with laughter thru it all. It rained the whole time...we couldn't afford Discovery Cove....but a friend went and him and his wife loved it too. Sea World and Epcot were my highlights. I hate that weather. Awful.
I hope your throat feels better soon. The alerts were down for me for 4 days. AOL SUCKS!

I never send out personal alerts for my entries if alerts are down because I just assume people will be glad to get a break from me ;0.
I think it is the law you have to leave Disney with some sort of illness.
Are they still selling those HUGE gross turkey legs in the Animal Kingdom?

Wow.. There is a place there called Pleasure Island?! Just like from the movie Pinnochio? LOL... Did people hand out cigars, and were there a lot of donkeys around??!! How cute. HI Lyn. so sorry to hear you don't feel so good. I've always done Splash Nountian twice, too. My Granmohter used to read us the books about Brer Rabbit and all his buddies including the Tar Baby. I was just a kid and didn't realize that the books were racist. Can't buy that book anymore, needless to say. I'm looking forward to seeing some pics. hugs, Bethe
OH MY GOSH.....I TOTALLY LOVED Discovery Cove and swimming with the dolphins! My kids said it was one of the best vacations EVER and Brian wants us to go back for his 16th birthday. I LOVE THAT PLACE and I am so glad you went and had such a great time!

Wow! Orlando! My husband and I were supposed to go to Disney World this year and we never got there. I'm glad you went and had fun! Maybe I will get there next year.
