Good morning campers!!!
Thought I would let you see what I have read so far this summer....

I would recommend each and every one of the above..these days life is too short for me to waste it on a book that does not grab my attention so any that I read I can recommend....I used to feel guilty if I started a book and couldn't get into it..not anymore...;-) I do have in my possession our very own Melissa's (back pages) book..can't wait to read that one...
No work for me today...I have been filling in here and there to cover for one of our ladies whose Mum is in the end stages of brain and lung cancer..she has taken a leave of absence to be by her side.... my sister in law and her partner are here from UK..they are spending a week up here in Jacksonville before we all go down to Orlando....they are staying round at my father in laws...his wife is doing really well after her surgery and radiation...we find out next week if she will need any additional treatment but so far it has all gone very well...I appreciate the prayers and good thoughts on that one....
I went for a drink with one of the girls from the old clinic I worked at and it seems our annual trip to the Beach House is still on...yay!! So on August 15th I will be off to relax and have some fun with the girls for 3 days at the beach....wine..women and song...LOL..
Today I am going with Jen to a Dr. appointment and then out to lunch...see I am getting out and about and finally shaking off my pity party for one...did you read that Gaz?? ;-)

I'm a huge bookworm too lol ask Cindy! but then she reads quite a bit also, she generally does it at night where as I do it whenever I have a hand free ROFL. It's hot as blazes here in TX also, 100's + complete humidity!!!! almost lays me out flat :( so very different from Oregon! Cindy came home a couple days ago and the building she works in the temp got up to 113 degrees (they have no a/c) me? I'd be not only "hell no" but "HELL no" ROFL. Blessings* Teresa

I just ordered a new book from my book club do you believe they told me if i didnt purchase the two remaining books thats in my commitment that they will charge me for them wether i do or if i dont aint that something!

Thats a fair list of books you have read this Summer ~ I don't read half as much as I should I've been weeks on a book I am reading at the Moment "Catherine Cookson's The Branded Man" havn't got into it yet but I will persevere ~ Glad your Beach weekend is still on that will be fun for you all ~ enjoy your Friday off ~ Ally x

HOLY COW WOMAN!!! That's ALOT of reading!!! OK, so I have to ask...which one did you like best? I can't possibly read ALL of them...but one or two I could do, so tell me your FAVORITES. I like "light reading." Nothing too complicated or historical. Just...plain, old fiction! (lol)

You sure have quite the list of books. What is Precious Time about? Sorry to hear about that ladies mom and the cancer, it always makes me sad to hear about things like that. I will keep them in my prayers. Hope you stay cool and busy this weekend. Luv ya!

I don't read like I used to. I got into reading a lot when I was with my ex and for some reason it has declined in recent years. I don't know why exactly. Glad you are enjoying some good books. Have a good weekend.
